WI at the weekend -1lb so 13/103 only 90lbs left to go!

you_wicked_gay When I was pregnant I was.... blocked up and found that prunes/dates/fresh orange juice (not from concerntrate) were the best at helping things along. Alongside fibre, and water. There is a drink - fybogel that I was recommended but I never tried as prune juice worked fine for me lol.

    HTH :D

Don't think I could bring myself to knock back a glass of prune juice tbh. Just the thought of it makes me shudder eugh

I've bought some Benefiber powder from Tesco and am giving it a go, aswell as upping my fluid intake and switching my pasta to wholewheat and my rice to brown :) x

What size carton / brand do you have? I have a small 200ml carton of tesco value OJ every morning with my breakfast and there's only 1 point in it :)

What amount of beans is this? I only ever buy the weight watchers kind, and in half a tin there is only 2 points :)

Also be careful when it comes to the thin 'danish' type weight watchers bread. The packaging states that there is only 1/2 point per slice, but if you work out the points for 2 slices using the nutritional info, you'll find that 2 slices = 1.5 points (boo weight watchers being sneaky!)

I only have 19 points to use a day, so I do try to scrimp and save the odd half a point here and there as those 0.5's really do add up! :)

It was half a large can of normal Branston beans... maybe I'll try the weightwatchers ones :o

Made a mistake today as there was me thinking bananas were free and managed to consume 3 over the course of the day.... that was 6 points I found out later! I don't even like bananas LOL

    This made me laugh :rotfl:

If there's one thing I simply cannot stand, it's bananas eugh! The smell alone is enough to turn my stomach! >_< :( So I guess I should be glad that I'm saving myself some points there haha!

    ---

    Matter of beans:

Just did a bit of nerdy swotting up on the subject of 'beans' on Mr.Ts website to see if there are any cheap / better alternatives and found that...

Tesco Value (420g per can) = 1.5 points per half can (28p per can)

Tesco Light Choices (420g per can) = 2 points per half can (45p per can)

Weight Watchers (415g per can) = 2 points per half can (64p per can)

Heinz original (415g per can) = 2 points per half can (64p per can)

Oak Lane (420g per can) = 2.5 points per half can (29p per can)

Tesco own brand (420g per can) = 2.5 points per half can (44p per can)

Branston original (420g per can) = 2.5 points per half can (50p per can)

You see I like branston beans but can never manage half a tin, maximum is like 1/3 of a tin with my OH ending up with the rest (mr fartypants). I took the ww quiz for him and he is allowed a massive 37 points a day and he is only 3 stone overweight!! where as I am 11 stone overweight (according to BMI - I think thats balderdash) and I am on 30 points.....

    Oh yes and my info is.....Ticklepenny starting weight 22st 5lbs, Current 21st 6lbs Target 15st 0lbs

Hi everyone, can I join please? I've done WW several time's before so I know it work's for me if I stick to it. I was about to join last year and had printed off the free registration email then found out later that day I was pregnant! Fast forward 14 month's and I have a gorgeous baby girl who's almost 6 months old and at least 3 stone to lose.

I'm still fully breast feeding so allowed a whopping 30 point's a day which seem's load's as the most I've ever started at previously was 21 points. Finger's crossed I'll be off to a good start this week.
    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j

Hi folks - have been missing a while - first got stuck abroad with volcano, then home computer broke... oops!
Current weight 12st and have been up and down between 11st11 and 12st for months. Aiming for 11st 7 (I'm 5ft7 so this is just about a healthy BMI and should be able to maintain at a size 14)
Was thinking of switching my online membership to a Monthly pass and going to meetings to get my motivation back. Has anyone else made this switch and how did they find it? thanks for your help.

'Woop Woop' 1st WI yesterday (at home ) and lost 2.5 1b:j.
Was expecting more as lots seem to have big weight loss 1st week , but still very happy.
However I have the lurgy , feeling yuk, husband has been rough over weekend with the sore throat coldy thing going around, now I went down with it yesterday, and kids both groggy this morning but gone off to school,so I can sympathise with those of you with it. Sore throat , really achy, heady , earache and stuffy sinuses and I have the drippy tap nose.Of course you think you don't want to eat , but you do , you think you will feel better if you eat more so you fancy all sorts of things. Stressing about the decorating I have been doing all weekend and just do not feel like finishing at mo, probably a bit run down too as been burning the midnight oil with the decorating for over a weeks now.
    Wishing all of you better.

    Hi all,
I would like to join WW with my hubby and we need a piece of advice on how to start. I printed off a coupon for free registration and a free meeting, but what to I do next? I also foun a group near us, so shall we just turn up on the next meeting with these coupons or we have to let them know in advance that we are coming first time and have no idea about the programme?

Hi , I joined last Tuesday but online and it cost me -5p for 3 months online, which means I made 5p. Is a bit fiddly at first as all online but now I find it sooo easy, but meetings are not for me (hated Slimming World and all the happy clappy)and can't afford them at mo. I saw Martins link for cashback and went through Topcashback which paid me £30 for joining as there is currently an offer to join on line too, I even made on it, however on Wednesday they changed offer to £20 cashback so I just got in in time, but will still only cost you under a tenner for 3 months. Top cashback is free to join, I have Quidco too but they did not have as much cashback.. I am finding it easy and plan a few days ahead and does calculate it all for you and none of the writing down.Hubby is doing it too but think he should be having a few more points than me, we both lost 2.5 lb last week and never felt like we missed out on anything really.
