I might have stayed the same this week but I've somehow become a perfect 10! Size 10 that is! Took a whole host of size 12 clothes into the changing rooms and all of it was too big!

Even went to another shop to make sure their sizes weren't funny and it was the same there :D

co-ops own cheapy brand - I think they are 33p for a small tin!! though tonight I have got tescos own brand (not the cheap version) and they work out to be 1 point per small can  so I have put some of them in the oven with a bit of chili powder!

Bought what I thought were the ones but they're 2 pts for the tin?? Where have I gone wrong?

They're Co-op own new potatoes in water 300g, 32p, the tin has pictures of potatoes on it. Per can, drained (approx 186g) is 125 cal and a trace of sat fat which is 2 pts, still good for me as I get a whopping 30pts a day due to breastfeeding but will have to drop down soon so will need every extra point I can get!!

it was the co-op everyday brand (like tesco basic range) - Ive thrown away the tin now so cant even double check :( im sure on the side where it says the nutrition value that for the whole can drained it was about 40 cals and about 0.2 satfat mkaing it half a point on my chart thingy! I was telling a friend about it earlier (who also does WW) and she said that she has the big tins of shops own and the whole tin is 2 points!! and she eats them all to herself and doesnt feel one bit guilty :D !!!!!!

I hate boots scales - they tell lies!!!! when I went to the WW meeting and got all my stuff and got weighed I went home and got on my scales and they said the same (mine are old style not digital) and this week I have been really good and stuck to my points so when I went and weighed myself earlier at boots I was shocked to see I hadnt lost a single pound :( however, when I got home I got on my scales and I have lost 5lb!!!!!! yay!! :D

ETA: this also means I get to knock of a point of my daily allowance!!! :D
  • Hi guys :)

I haven't been on here for a fair few weeks now. Boo me! :(

My weight loss has had its ups and downs recently, and this past week was my birthday (which involved eating out at Nandos, McDonalds, an all you can eat chinese buffet and mexican food!) meaning I put 1lb on - but I don't have a problem with this because I ate so bloody much and had an amazing time :D

I'm currently 11st 5lb, and hoping to have a loss this week. My weigh in day is on Friday so I'm going to push myself to do exercise this week and stick to my points. So far so good :)

Can I join in please....need all the help I can get to stay on track.

Briefly.....got to goal (9st 4) 6 years ago.....then lost my dad and piled it all on with comfort eating. Got back to 9 and a half stone, again with WW, a couple of years later, then gradually put it back on and more, and at the beginning of the year was 11 st 13.5 :o

Then my husband left me, and within a couple of weeks I had lost half a stone, just because I didn't fancy eating.

So I thought I would capitalise on that weight loss and re-join WW on the basis that I really needed to take control of something, and I needed to start eating healthily again after a couple of weeks of eating next to nothing.

Before Easter, I weighed in at 10 st 11.5 so it is going in the right direction, and I have been tracking and weighing everything to do things properly........then over Easter I took some time off work, and lo and behold, no tracking, and 4lbs on within a week

So that has been a bit of a wake up call - I am back to work tomorrow, and have been tracking properly again for the last couple of days. However, a couple of days out and poor food choices on Weds and Thurs have meant that I am still 17.5 points in deficit for the week so far......I weigh in on a Wednesday lunchtime, so only have 3 days to recoup those points, which is quite unlikely. I'll accept that, for this week only, but it has really highlighted how much I need to stay focused!

  • hey all, just checking in.
didnt go to weigh in on thurs due to working. dont so be tracking fully but sort of know what i can and cant eat, easier at work as only need to plan 2 meals. if i dont take snacks i havent got them there to eat.

gonna be very good this week though as i only need to lose 1lb and i will have hit the half a stone mark!!!! fingers crossed for me!

keep it up guys.......summer is nearly here (for me anyways, think some of you already have the nice weather)
