I cant say if I would or not as I have only been doing WW for 1 week!!! however, I can see how it would be more of a motivator - the group will look to you for advice and support and that will always be at the back of your mind everytime you are about to slip and comfort eat and so will make you think again. your group will also look to you as inspiration knowing that you are trying so hard not to let them down so will also make them think again if ever they get tempted to slip as they wont want to let you down either!!

I would say go for it!!

OH thinks I should go for it too...his only concern is that there may be times that lots of members don't turn up maybe due to school holidays or the weather so I'd obviously not be making any money.

Agree with newcook about it being more of a motivator and can also see what you mean about losing money due to school holidays etc. Can you get hold of the accounts before you make a decision and work out the average? Might give you a bit of an idea? You mst have something inspiring about you if your leader has asked you specifically!

She's told me how much the average is for each class, it's pretty much the same as I'm getting 'in proper employment' so I'm sure we'd be o.k but there would always be a niggle in the back of my mind that I wouldn't get enough!

I don't know why she asked me...maybe I should ask her that next week! :rotfl:

Stop putting yourself down! Have you considered that the Leader probably recognizes qualities in you that would inspire other people which you really need at WW! I have noticed the difference in the Leaders and I think it is a really demanding job in that you have to be able to talk to people of all ages and for them not to feel they are being patronised.

It is quite something to walk away from a Meeting and think,

" Maybe I feel a bit more inspired this week......."

It wont be just the driving that is the issue for your Leader.

She usually has to stay overnight before she does my meeting and then she does a meeting in the next town over. She has to wait 4hours or so until her 3rd meeting of the day then she gets to go home after that, I think that would probably annoy me too!

Hi All,

Started my own diet at the start of the year lost 16lb and then slipped and put 4lb back on. Yesterday I decided to joint WW online for a little added motivation and something to follow…. Going to Dublin tomorrow and would like to have the odd drink while I’m there. How does it work with the WW diet and alcohol? Are you only allowed so much per week or is it ok as long as its in my points?
