They have good prices; can't deny. However, in attempting to ask some specific questions regarding the item I wanted to purchase from them... They seems to have continuous 'Problems with their telephone system, call back or try the web site' Calling back getting the same response then, resulted in sending multiple emails through their web pages, getting registration accounts etc... all of which were to be answered within 1 working day...

    Still waiting, days later...

If that's how they treat potential customers, after sales is going to be dire...
Use at your own risk would be the message here.

Me? I decided to pay a little more to get better service from another retailer.

I'd give your card company a call - will get things moving quicker
  • I bought a galaxy s6 edge last year. Yes it did arrive seven weeks later after numerous emails and phone calls.being told lie after lie. . Stupidly, but for price alone. I ordered a s7 in March this year, seven weeks later numerous fob offs later I cancelled the order and was relieved to receive a full refund two weeks later. Buying the s7 from UK company delivered within two days for similar price. Tried to sell s6 edge only to find that it had been tampered with and was worthless. This was bought in good faith only twelve months ago, and now am left with a piece of electronic junk Well and truly conned by a Hong Kong company portrayed as UK company
DO NOT BUY FROM SIMPLY ELECTRONICS
  • I can’t imagine that my comments and experience of trying to make a purchase from Simply Electronics will be any different from anyone else on these threads. In good faith, I ordered a camera lens. It quickly became clear that it was highly unlikely that I would receive the goods.
As reported by others, I made several attempts to engage the company in dialogue about when my goods would arrive, all to no avail. The telephone number provided by Simply Electronics continues to suffer from ‘technical problems’ (odd that a company dealing with electronics and ‘phones is unable to repair or replace its communications systems!).
I had paid by debit card (mistake number one, as only credit cards provide guaranteed protection in such cases); however, I was lucky with my bank as it allowed me to claim a ‘chargeback’. The money was returned to my account within three working days. If anyone reading this has not contacted their bank in the case of debit card transaction, or card issuer in the case of a credit card, I would suggest you do so. The process was completed over the ‘phone. Lesson number 2 for me was to never buy online without doing a simple internet search. I usually do and didn’t on this occasion – that’ll really teach me!
I wouldn’t have touched Simply Electronics if I had first read comments / reports. Your comments did make me realise quite quickly that the goods were not likely to arrive and this spurred me on to contact my bank.
Good luck to those of you still waiting on your refunds. I hope you can resolve the issues as quickly as I did.

  • They have been banned from ukhotdeals
  • Don't understand why people out to steal your money would maintain such an elaborate website.

Have had a Lumia 950XL on order for five weeks now. They took my money day one and every time I query where my phone is I get polite explanation asking me to be patient. Manana!

Have lost patience after a worrying five weeks but it now looks as though the bank will be able to recover my money.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM THEY ARE NOT HONEST DEALERS

The phone I ordered has now been removed from sale. The website was showing four available when I ordered.

Would like to see their website blocked in the UK.
  • DO NOT BE FOOLED - YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM SIMPLY ELECTRONIC

I lost over £600 being an idiot and falling for low prices - learn't my lesson the hard way...money down the drain.

Stay well clear - I was I had
