Exactly. So long as I'm controlled then it should be ok. It's just that the £200 covers everything including if the girls need stuff, and I usually hit it. Going to start keeping a proper spending diary so I can see exactly what I *need*.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Well done!!
It's a pity about the job and it must be a worry, but there were a lot of positives you can take from it, which will hopefully give you a little bit of extra confidence next time.
Maybe try to think about the areas that they had concerns about - the meeting of targets and lack of experience, and see if you can draw examples from previous jobs of times when you had to do this (or even from your OU work).
At one point, you were juggling 2 jobs, 2 kids, an OU course and debt busting, all at once, so you do have experience of handling high pressure situations, huge workloads and meeting targets and deadlines, and that's before you even start talking about your current work."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Morning all!
I've decided I'm going to be good and start a spending diary I've got an excel spreadsheet for it (surprise surprise yea? lol) but I'll put it on here too so you can all beat me up for non essential spends lol.. so here goes!
Yesterday I spent £29.99 in Game, for extra microphones for our 'Lips' game as I'm having a 'Happy divorce' party tonight :rotfl:. In my defence I went to one shop and they wanted £42.99 for the game and 2 mics preowned and they offered me £7.20 to trade the game back in as I already had it. But I decided to shop around so I went to game and they had the same thing new on offer for £29.99 AND they offered £9.60 back for the game, so Ashli managed to get a game for her DS too(I had to add 40p to it as it was £9.99... see... writing this already is reminding me of the odd pence which would've otherwise been frittered away unnoticed! :T The microphones are hard to come by on their own other than online, and even then they start at £15 plus delivery... plus Ash wouldn't have got a game either
Fairly decent bargain I reckon there... still technically non essential but it's within my 'personal' budget but I know that's no defence as it's £30 I could've paid off my card, but I promise it's the last big nonessential spend
That's a point I might do a thing on my spreadsheet to show how much the things on my spending diary would've brought down my egg card by way of a demotivational tool
So spending diary so far..
£29.99
£0.40
£2 (parking)
£5 I owe the fella for some food.. lol
= £37.39 I could've paid off the egg card. Dear god, when you put it like that.... :eek:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
