  • That seems rather extreme! It would kinda make sense if you didn't already have a cat, but surely Lewis must be proof enough that you're allowed one! And a tenacy agreement that states as much is surely the same as a letter *confused* Grrr!!

I called the housing association and they said exactly the same, it's in the tenancy conditions that I don't need permission! I don't understand the logic personally. As soon as I answered her question as to whether I owned or rented she looked at me like I was the scum of the earth!

I would be inclined to give that kitten a miss if they are going to be that difficult and charge you for it. There must be other kittens around if you really want one. Sounds like she is a typical twinset and pearl volunteer lady - you know what I mean.

Exactly. I've had a call from the housing association who have been lovely, the lady is going to do a letter and hand deliver it to me tomorrow.
Going to call the cat lady in a minute and see if there's any other excuses she can think of..

How did it go with the cat woman? Do you have to promise to give it only Evian water and smoked salmon? Or house it in its own room, painted a specific shade of green? With a Spongebob duvet because 'he just likes it'?

    Silly bloody woman. <rollseyes>

Hi IA, Have been catching up on your diary. Not been on here in ages and was wondering how you were getting on. Any news on the kitten?
