  • Hey :hello:

Well it's bad news on the kitten... I was sooooo cheesed off yesterday. I got the permission from the landlord, they were fab and hand delivered it. So I emailed the lady who did the home visit.... nothing. Called her, no answer so left a voicemail. By yesterday evening I STILL hadn't had a response but was giving her the benefit of the doubt as I know that she's a volunteer and works. But, Ian offered to call her to see if she was avoiding me. Turns out she was. She answered straight away and got all flustered when he said he was calling on my behalf. Apparently they'd decided that my house was 'too chaotic' and my kids were 'too noisy and naughty', considering shortly after they also changed his ad on their site to 'well behaved children only'. What a damn cheek!! When she came to visit there was only KK here and she was good as gold. At the home visit they were PLAYING with another kitten but weren't being naughty in the slightest. And to think she didn't even have the balls to tell me she was just going to ignore me!!! Was soooo livid. I can't believe the nerve of some people. Grrrr.

    Aaaaaanyway *rant over*
Last night I was so cheesed off and stressing about everything. Especially job and money stuff. So I've decided to change the way I do my budgets. Instead of trying to constantly combine a weekly/monthly pay system I've decided to split it and am going to use my wages and child maintenance for my bills (rent, direct debits and nursery fees) which apparently leaves my with.. wait for it... £6.66 leftover  :rotfl:

I would then used my child benefit and tax credits for everything else, food, petrol, band, lessons etc... will do a proper breakdown once I've written it up properly but it would allow for about £79 left over to pay off my card by the end of april as I'd planned. So going to give that a go from now on and see how I manage. I've also got car tax to budget for this month. bum!

Thank god that woman does not volunteer for the CAB she wouldn't last 2 min with that judgmental attitude. The letter from the Council was just an excuse then so she has wasted everyones time you should name and shame that animal shelter really.

  • Bo**ocks bo**ocks BO**CKS. Thanks to unexpected bills going out I'm now £70 short of my bills money for next month, most of which go out in the coming week. I've got no extra money until friday as my child benefit on tues will have to pay for food, petrol and my bass lesson, so I've raided my games cabinet and am waiting for Ian to come pick me up so I can go to game/gamestation and trade some in for cash to see if I can ease the shortfall. I am NOT going to get into an unauthorised overdraft or have DD bounced.
Ironic how the £70 is the exact amount that the housing assocation are making me pay extra for the next 2 months thanks to their balls up with the housing benefit too.... grrrrr..

Sorry to hear about the kitten hun, thats really rubbish :o

Just a thought on your budget, could you do packed lunches instead of school dinners? £40 a month could be reduced significantly with sandwiches etc? Ignore me if already mentioned ;):)
