Well.. thanks to a total rejigging of my finances.. and some help from my dad, I've been able to pay £119.50 off my egg card today and will manage ok for the rest of the month. I've just had to take my budgets right down to bare minimum which means no treats or anything for the time being I've got £50 for myself til next month, £60 petrol, £100 food (running low) and £163 to pay off my half of the holiday.. I've cleared my council tax arrears and the rent arrears are being paid off in the next couple of months. What a stress!
If nothing else goes to crap then I *should* be able to pay another £200-£300 off the card.. but we'll see what happens. lol
Still no luck on the job front.... not good but the first job's closing date was only today, and the next on the 22nd... so I'm hoping I hear something soon. It's also been 'unofficial' confirmed that the renewed funding for the one contract I'm under which was up for renewal in march is going ahead.. but I've yet to hear that for definite so should hear about that monday hopefully. I'm not taking anything for granted at the minute!
And so to the weekend.. having a child free night tonight, off to bunny's party tomorrow night and then apparently on sunday the fella's cooking for me. awwwww...
Have enough in my budget to get the girls some party dresses for bunny's party tomorrow too so will have to go shopping tomorrow. Also need to do a food shop!
Hope everyone is well and has a good weekend!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Afternoon all!
Had a wonderful valentines day with the fella.. got completely spoilt rotten and loved every minute of itThese men have their uses
Tomorrow I've got my job interview.. soo nervous as apparently there's a written test too. eek! Will obviously report on how it went after. Feeling a bit weird about it as I don't want to leave where I am now but have no other choice really... such a shame
Haven't managed to pay any more off the debt yet.. it's still standing at £724. I get paid friday though so planning on paying something off it. Will have to have a look at my budgets again once I can think about something other than this flippin' job interview! lol!
Poor Lewis is poorly. Think he's got an ear infection and was supposed to be taking him to the vets yesterday but he went and disappeared! Really worried me as he'd been really ill the night before. He came strolling back in the evening starving hungry and feeling sorry for himself so having to take him at 4.50 today.

Buh what a day.
I had my interview this morning. It went really well and I felt that I did really well on the test. The interview itself seemed to go really well too but they picked up on a few things like what I'd do about childcare, some sickness I'd had off and the small nature of our bureau compared to their big, target driven one.
In the end I didn't get the job. They called me a few hours later. But he did say that my interview was excellent and my test results were very good, the only reason I didn't get the job was because there was one person who had more casework experience than me. He did say however that there was a slim chance of some further funding becoming available that hadn't been confirmed yet. If it had he's have offered me that position, but there's no guarantees. He's going to call me if something comes up.
I also had an automatic rejection via email for another job today so on the whole it's not been a very good day jobwise. Feeling very demotivated and bleh. Tonight I have just relaxed with some wine and a girlie movie, trying to take my mind off things. But all I keep thinking is, what the hell's going to happen if I can't find a job before the end of april?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I may be wrong but I believe its illegal to ask you about childcare arrangements in an interview, a form of discriminationMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
