Nobody is going to tell you off if you miss some of it... although it will make the end of year exam difficult if you don't catch up .

ok, lots of help on here regarding book selling, but one of my books doesn't have an ISBN no. What do I do? It was printed in 1940's and looks like typewriter print.
edit: found it by serching title on fatbrain (thanks for the link), but it is saying they will give £1.17 for a 7th edition copy, but mine was printed in 1947 and in the front cover it says first edition March 1947, reprinted April 1947.
Does this mean I have a first or second edition and secondly, where can I sell it if it is worth more?
Oh, picked it up in a charity shop on BOGOF for 50p so anything is a bonus!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Anybody know what kind of books fatbrain tend to go for? And what are the best buys they will have from you? As Im thinking if you can buy them for cheap and they pay postage, then if you do this with quite a few books then it could add up./Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0

Yippee. I just sold my first 'bought specifically for resale' item. Profit of 100%(less a bit for postage, going to PO later) I had no idea that the feeling would be so good!:rotfl:
Just to add. If it were not for the constant motivation of reading this thread I would not have bought it. I was even wavering about sending it back (I'm sooooo chicken!) but this thread helped me through that. Some of us NEED the chat to keep us going!0 -
Just sold something else on Amazon and made £150! (It was some software that I bought years ago!), also have a lot of ebay finishing today and some already have bids and quite a few watchers:j
Will update totals later tonight or tomorrow.
PS. I am loving the chat too, it helps to keep me motivated and moving forward!Sell £1000 in 2016 - £12.48/£1000

Hey everyone
Just spent ages reading through the 12 pages to catch up haha, but loving how everyone seems to be doing well done all! :T
I have listed an item on ebay that i already had and my OH rang to say my parcel had arrived yay! Not bad, i ordered Sunday before last so it's only taken a week to arrive from China even with the weather issues
So £100 spend to resell is underway and hopefully i'll see some sales coming in this week! :j0
