Hi
I've spent all weekend reading this thread (and the previous one!) Can I join please? Everyone's really inspiring and positive it's great!
I love the thrill of ebay and car boots! Listed 17 items on ebay yesterday, got a bid on one already. Also looked at localbargainfinder and goofbay which I didn't know about before I started reading this so thanksMum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

:mad::mad::mad::mad: Spent all morning (since 5am ) Turbolisting a ton of stuff but everytime I try to upload it it tells me there are internal application errors on some of my things. Each time I try the amount of errors goes up. I want to cry:(:( Anybody got any ideas
I have had the same problem. Don,t know whats causing itJan £10 a day £326.75/£3100 -
Really happy that I had a productive weekend. Got some more invitation designs done. Got the bulk of my photography done for my website and updated it. Looking really good so far
Just getting some more samples printed up.
A great recommendation if you are crafty and want to get samples made up is a site called https://www.fileprint.org. Postage and packaging is a bit pricey but you can get single samples of cards printed up which is absolutely fantastic!
Relisted my Ipod on ebay after cleaning it up some more, and getting some extras to go with it - so I am hoping that it will go for a better price and it seems to have made the reserve price already this morning.
My only gripe for this weekend is that when I was booking a courier this weekend the site timed out! So, I have been charged but no courier booking... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000

Hate to say it but I've had over 40 books on green metropolis, cheapest on there for each one, for over a year, and still not a single sale. I only use amazon now, no fees unless a book sells, and a very high volume of customers. I'd rather have a high volume of sales at a slightly lower price, than no sales whatsoever.
Bought the last of the start up stock from my £100 last night. Just need it to arrive now, put in the first order a week ago and still not dispatched!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I've sold a book a month on GM since putting them on at the start of last year. I've only sold cookery or pregnancy books, nothing else.
I'm looking at a site that buys book, a bit like music magpie, at the moment. I'm typing in the ISBN numbers and I'm up to £10 with some obscure books that I have. They pay the postage for the books so will let you know how it goes. The site is fatbrain http://fatbrain.co.uk/0 -
I am trying to catch up and read all the posts here. Just want to update you all on my quest.
I started on the 4th Jan with: £0
Ebay: £142
Spent in postage: £10
Total profit: £132
100 to 10k: £132
I just listed another 12 items on Ebay yesterday and this thread has been a great help to keep me going. In the past, I would just give up after a few days, but hopefully not this time.Member 7 of 100 to 10k - £100 to £10k = £1490 -
excellent, i have just registered and have a couple of things listed, may i ask, have you hda your items listed for long? or do you have lots listed with them? TBH quite happy to sit back and leave lsiting there for a while if they dont sell quickly, but just asking out of curiosity.
I have been with GreenMetropolis for years, sales are sporadic so it's purely chance that I sold two books this close together. I do have quite a lot of books listed, I list most of the books that come my way and see what happens.0 -

I sold a copy of a Jeffrey Archer (I didn't think this would sell, so I'm especially pleased about this one) and The Wolves of Willoughby Chase by Joan Aitken. Yes, you get an email when a book sells, just be careful the message doesn't get misdirected to junk folder.0 -
Hello, new to this forum and could use some advice. I have (stupidly) paid £39.95 to register with UK Mystery Shopper employment and they are now not answering my e mails (surprise surprise) Does anyone know how I can get my money back? Is there anywhere I can report them to?0
