Hi everybody,
Glad to see so many people doing so well. I'd a few sales on ebay today, just my own stuff. I was looking for the best way to sell cards, birthday, mothers day etc. Should i try and sell them singley or bundle tem up. Where would be the best market.0 -
:mad::mad::mad::mad: Spent all morning (since 5am ) Turbolisting a ton of stuff but everytime I try to upload it it tells me there are internal application errors on some of my things. Each time I try the amount of errors goes up. I want to cry:(:( Anybody got any ideas0

Another place I've used to sell things on is netmums. I've sold toys, clothes and household stuff. No fees , all local and I even found my best friend on it:p0

would try and get them into local shops,(craft shops, cafe/resaurant - you could offer to do bespoke menus's for nothing and advertise your cards along the bottom and ask them to display your cards-, papershops day centres, old peoples homes?? (they dont go out very much if at all - dont mean to be disrespectful but at least they could have a choice rather than rely on a care assistant or member of the family get them one and the older generation appreciate the personal touch - that one just came to me!!!!!!!) and wait on a free listing day on ebay to try them out. Summers coming concentrate on Wedding stationery - invites day & night, menus, place settings, hymn sheets, thank you notelets - the whole package and get business cards left in bridal shops etc
hope this helps and doesnt sound crazy - especially the old peoples homes!skintbint x

hi everyone,
hearing lots of success stories today. you are all doing really well.
i spent most of this evening reinvesting what ive made so far in supplies to hopefully make a profit from. this is the first i have bought anything to make a profit from so am quite nervous about that. havent got final figure of what i spent but i think its around the £100 mark (probably alot more). had to stop myself getting carried away. just have to wait now to for it all to arrive. spending tomorrow afternoon packaging what ive sold over the weekend and getting to terms with the account keeping side of things (thanks to Turia's wonderful spreadsheet).
feeling very positive today, and quite positive that i will feel positive tomorrow. now there is a positive mental attitude. lol"it's better than a poke in the eye with a pointy stick" - my dad, regularly throughout my childhood when I complained about something being too small/not perfect/not tasty/not what I wanted. he was right every time.0 -
Also, not done this for a while, so not sure of latest ways of going about it (on my list of to dos) is to develop and save advanced searches that suit your targeted aims.
I've actually had this set up for a while with local/collection only items, ebay emails me a list of new listings every day, im assuming thats what you mean?
Problem is i can't remember how i done it  I read it somewhere so i'll go have a look about and see if i can find it, unless someone beats me to it!
As for what im interested in/know about, im still thinking about this one!
I used to sell alot on there years ago, it was small time but profitable and consistant for quite a while, but theres no market for it anymore so thats a no go!
I may look into other things related to it thoughDid you know that 6 out of 7 dwarfs are not happy?!0 -
