ha ha thanks scrooge2008, i am the poorest millionaire ever.
googly eyes - set a trend to get all the local students wearing them, they of course would haveto buy them from you first(for instance, on one of their themed or party nights, they all should wear googly eyes)
Thanks to all who post comps :T0 -
Heres another ebay related site i found hidden away in my favourites
http://www.lastminute-auction.com/uk
Hopefully useful for someoneDid you know that 6 out of 7 dwarfs are not happy?!0 -
There are other games on there apart from Bingo. I suggest you could always play roulette. As you've got £15, bet £5 on either red or black. You've got a 50% chance of winning £5 (ok slightly less in reality once the site has taken it's cut, but you get the idea). If you win, you've got £20 and can then withdraw. If you lose, bet on red or black again, this time with your remaining £10. Again you've got roughly a 50% chance of winning £10, in which case you'll have £20 and can withdraw.
This way you might lose it all (you probably would have on bingo anyway) but there's a greater than average chance you'll win - not sure of exact probability, maybe someone who is better at maths than me can tell us?shoperholicnot wrote: »hi all

I think I'm the only one doing absolutely nothing here lol
What are your interests and hobbies? Do you belong to any sub-cultures? Are you a parent? All these questions may seem random but they can help you think of something to sell.0 -
I love this thread, dont get to post much more of a lurker and been trying to list on Ebay. Managed to make £66 excluding fee's today from bits I have in the house so pleased with that.
Now I dont know what else to sell!!!
I've been doing surveys too, I was hoping to knit or crochet things....god knows what! But I have 3 kids and started my 3rd OU course so time isn't something I have much of!! but I love the challenge!
Keep it up everyone!!!0 -
No your not the only one I've been struggling to get started had a couple things on ebay but i pulled them because i didnt set a reserve and they wern't any bids on them.
I listed some stuff for 7 days and it wasn't until day 5 that I got a bid and watchers. Mine was weight loss books and CD's. What were you selling? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Still loving this challenge, but what a massive learning curve it is. I go from being wildly optimistic to worrying it can all go wrong!!
Made some progress today following a post on here to check out the Ebay forums (thankyou :j)They are a mine of information. I learned a lot - like you can ban people from bidding on your items if you have had a bad experience with them; you can also ban buyers who have a certain no. of non payment strikes or who have breached too many Ebay T&C. I posted a question on there and received a good response too. It seems a really friendly forum.
I had a look at the Traders website and see many people buying off wholesalers. I am too chicken to do it yet. Can anyone verify a site they have ordered from and received the goods as described?
Re BB I was playing today and the CM was telling players about the bigger games, they play at 4,9 and 10pm daily. You can win I think up to £2,000.
i have dabbled in wholesale in the past, never at a huge scale, i always seemed to give up and never reinvested what i had made, but had no bad experiences with any, i have not used any on the trader yet, but i would think if advertised through them, they would be reputable co'sThanks to all who post comps :T0 -
Thanks kosma1, I did see some stuff that I liked on there, not that I can quite afford it yet. Maybe in a couple of months! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

LOL. I've got a headache, so much to take in. My brain doesn't know what's hit it.
The master plan will emerge though......
Good night everyone.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
