I was hoping to knit or crochet things....god knows what!
Etsy.com would be a great place for that sort of thing. Or just a great site for inspiration on crafty stuff to get you started.

I'm wanting to import some stuff from the US (supplies for something I'm making), probably with a value of £50-£100. Physically small though so will come in a small parcel. According to the Revenue, customs duty won't be due as it's less than £120 but import vat will be due as it's value is over £18. Plus the post office will charge an £8 fee to collect the VAT.
Does anyone have any experience of ordering stuff from the US or other countries? If so, were you charged customs duty/vat? I'm wondering whether they check and add the charges on to every parcel where duty/vat is due, or do some slip through the net? If so are you obligated to tell someone and pay up?Sealed Pot Challenge #1666 - up for raising as much as poss0 -

My mum is fab at going round boot sales and charity shops and selling it for loads more on ebay, but I can quite get my head round it! just practise I guess :rolleyes:0 -
just had my first stab at match betting with help from betmunch, nearly had a pigging heart attack when one site started playing silly beggers whilst trying to get the bet on...managed it in the end, but I'm not sure I can handle the stress, my blood pressure must have gone through the roof!!
My ebay items now have bids so hopefully I'm going to be able to update my sig soon. yay!Turn £100 into £10,000 in 2010 member # 247
