Hi peterg1965
I've got a triple court date on 22 Feb for both my Abbey claims and my citicards claim.
I need to do my court bundles after Christmas and I am hopeful the Abbey will jut pay up a few days before the court date.
Citi are still digging their heels in so Iwill probably have to see them in court!0 -

Remember the MoneySaving mantras!
IF YOU'RE SKINT......
Do I need it? Can I afford it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?
IF YOU'RE NOT SKINT......
Will I use it? Is it worth it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?0 -
oakdale_minx, I've been lurking on your thread for a while and I just want to say keep your chin up girly. You've been through a lot this year but you have done so well you really have. I know it is hard, I've just had to go through some "fun" work stuff the past few months but am starting a new job monday and am looking forward to the year ahead. Just draw a line under the exam and anything else that is really bugging you, just plan what you are going to do in 2007 to keep the momentum that you have going. Who knows maybe you can knock a year off your debt date, you never know what good things are around the corner.
If you can go look at the Jan issue of Psychologies magazine in Tesco or equiv, turn to page 72 and look at the charting your future section. Have a skim read and give this a try at home, and it should help you get through the bumpy patch you're on.
Keep up the good work, we're all routing for you.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 234 Proud to be dealing with my debts I love the Dave Ramsey podcasts. Hi bobbie78
I'll have a look out for the magazine. I bought the first edition when it first came out and it was quite a good read.
I''m tired today. Felt quite positive at work, other than having to face the dragon, but even she was suspiciously nice to me.
It's the big meeting tomorrow to see what her plans are job wise. A small part of me wants her to say 'on your bike' but the rest of me says I have to obviously keep my job!!
Last January, one of the online bookmakers was offering 25/1 for Zara Phillips to win Sports Personality of the Year. I almost had a bet, based on a hunch and then thought 'nah' know there was the World Cup ahead.
Was I gutted or WOT when I flicked over Sunday to see her standing there with the trophy!!!!!!!! I would have won £250 plus my £10 stake!!!0 -
it would have been sods law you would have lost though if you had put the bet on!!! for a few weeks now I have been forgettingt o put a bet on for x-factor for Ray to be gone! just as well I forgot really cos he's still in it!!0

I would like to make the point though that I've not placed a bet all year!! (in case anyone was going to tell me off!!)0

Well, today is the day........
10.30 until 12.00, the boss lays her cards on the table and I find out if I have a job or not.
I have the union guy coming along as a witness and to make notes. There will be four of us there as well as the dragon, the HR Manager (who is useless) and the union rep.
I think I've got enough things in place so she can't just get rid of me, but she doesn't know that...........0 -
Good luck O-M!!0
