I've had a hellish day, I had the little one I child mind for the last 4 days 13 hours each day and she has doen nothing but whinge, cry, !!!!!! and puke. My own 2 klids were little devils as well and my husband is now pushing me to back to a 'normal' job as it's been so stressful this weekend...What could I do that would bring me in £1000 so half could go to childcare and the rest to my debt?! But sanity is a priority.. I don't like who I am with my own kids half the time from stress...

    Answers on a postcard please...

have you tried the same as the woman in the advert where her kid throws a strop, so she copys him and he stops......:D
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)
  • Cruella is being extremely subdued with me today. i've seen her twice and been very 'efficient/focused' in the way I come across and she has almost been sheepish.

I've sent an email to her and HR manager for the areas that weren't in the letter. I've said as soon as I get the points in writing I will give them my decision.

but I ain't giving it without it!

Lay awake last night planning my chocolate company/demonstration company. Even got so far as it getting so busy that I'd have to employ someone to make the chocolates whilst I was out doing the demo's to the pensioners of Dorset!!

Bunny - threaten to send them to Cruella......the chitty chitty bang bang child catcher lives on in her...
  • If I thought having a screaming tantrum would help, I would have...Corporal punishment was next on my list (JOKE! Would never hit them-God, some humourless OFSTED inspector may be lurking) But seroiusly, they were all little demons.

GOod news! Have sold our house!!! It's been on the market for around 6 weeks and we got pretty much the asking price. Really pleased-a new adveture starts today! We're downsizing (very sad to see my house go, but it's only bricks at the end of the day...)and my husband is going into propery developing. Hopefully, we can be mortgage free in 7 years and I can be paying much more off my debt...Fingers crossed!

    OM-
Can I be your official chocolate taster? PLEASE! I am partial to dark chocolate...

I don't like dark chocolate, so yes - you get the job!

Came home to find a fob off letter about the bank charges - so letter before action goes off tomorrow.

Capital One have sent me a book of credit card cheques, I've torn them into little pieces. Never really understood what they could be used for anyway

Had my CC statement from RBS and although I'd paid off the £1600+ balance, 3 days later they stuck £23 interest on so I'm going to pay that now...ggrrr...

  • OM,
Well, was a bit of a whirlwind afternoon-We bought another house (and I had never seen it!) went to see house we bought, lol, good thing I trust hubby, got VERY dirty kids in bath-into bed etc, then went to do Virgin party. Not home til 11-into bath and started reading v good book, fianlly crawled into bed at 12.30, sigh. Only worked for 11 hours today-but I know you know how that feels...

I'm a bit stressed today-I have to have £350 in my bank account on the first for my CCCS payment and mobile phone bill. I am owed £100 from 1 parent (but have to ask for it, grrrrrrrrr) and am expecting (a month later?!) my money from the Essential magazing thingy so I will have it then but it's not guarenteed I'll have it in time...I haven't bought any food for the family this week-looks like and ALDI shop today. Not that I mind but I will still have to go to Tescos to get some things I simply cannot get there. Fed up.

    Enough negativity...

I really dislike white chocolate but love milk chocolate as well ;)
