Thanks Bunny.... I think the worst answer would be for the Union Rep to say it's a No.. but...I think they'd be glad to use it as they've already got 2 examples (as have HR) of mistreatment during the past two meetings/briefings.0

You are absolutely right!
O_M is definitely entitled to have legal representation and the HR officer was bang out of order not rescheduling the meeting.
Its up to you O_M, but I think the diary is now something you need to start putting together on the constructive dismissal grounds - you may even end up with a bigger payoff if they think that you have a strong case.
You have been paying union dues all this time, you might as well use them.
Good luck whatever decision you take O_M, you know we will all back you whatever. xThanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Absolutely spot on!
HR will drag their heels if they think you will make a decision without them doing their job! What they don't realise is that you have 100's of sources of experience behind you on this board !!! They don't stand a chance!!!

Hi, O_M
Thanks for the response and offer of support should the court become the forum for beating Bcard into submission!
March 18th is the deadline for them providing me with my statements and I am aiming to have it all worked out with interest to send back by return of post the next day demanding my money back!!
I'll let you know!
I am going to bed - I have had a very long day and started a course tonight as well. Knackered. I would have gone for a pint but the three £2 coins I have in my wallet are destined for my savers fund so I can't go now ; (
Take care,

Don't ask me why but I had this bizarre desire to buy Take That tickets today!! I was one of the masses trying to get onto the meltdown websites selling the tickets. I'm not even a big fan - they are ok, but I don't really know what came over me to be driven to think about spending £100 on two tickets!!!! I guess I thought it would be a fun night out, but with train ticket and a hotel overnight, I really don't know what was possessing me!!!
Ah well, moment of madness over and money still intact in my account.
Definitely going to use bits of my DF diary (dates and stuff that has happened) to add to my evidence against Cruella.
Will have to get my euros in the next couple of days for my holiday. I'm not going to take a CC with me, i'm going to take enough cash and also take my debit card in case something awful happens, although my OH will have his CC with him.
Need to make a list of what I need to take with me. I'll spend a bit of time rummaging through my toiletries box first though. I've collected loads of freebies over the last 12 months so I think there will be plenty of shampoo sachets etc which will keep the luggage weight down. I think there are also some sun cream sachets somewhere as well.
Can't believe I go to Spain next Thursday. Feels weird. And, I have to say, a tiny bit exciting - finally!
OH is out tonight and I think I will put the radio on (Glitz Mix disco classics on a Friday!) and pour myself a few glasses of the very very cheap rose wine I had delivered from Asda a couple of days ago. Might have an AQA splurge. I only did £35 worth last month, but I had to be sensible and just concentrate on other things and not try to do too much. Might be very naughty and get a takeaway, but I need some washing powder so I think I will head off to the supermarket in a bit and see if there are any yummy reductions rather than spending on a takeaway.0 -
I apologise now for not being very DFW/MSE
It started to chuck it down (and still continues to) and I didn't get to the supermarket. There is a domino's pizza on the way....oops.....
However (trying to scrape back brownie points!!!) I used a code on MSE to get 20% off, I didn't take the opportunity to copy my OH and go out on the beer, I'm listening to the disco mix on the radio, the heating is turned off and I'll stick a jumper on if it gets colder, I've chucked together a golden syrup cake which has literally come out of the oven and I'm watering down my really bad rose wine with cheapy cordial.
Ok, I guess that can't cover up the fact that i've ordered a takeaway........
Goes off to sit in the naughty corner.........0 -
Enjoy your pizza and delicious sounding cake! Strangely, I also had a mad urge to buy Take That tickets.....an hour later I bought 4, I haven't dared tell OH yet as he doesn't even like them much. Massive dent in the finances though, and I don't even know who the other 3 are for!
Lucky you off to some sunshine. I work at an airport and everyone coming back from Spain at this time of year has suntans, surprisingly enough. Have a great time, and it will be a good chance to think things over.Lightbulb moment 30/10/06Debt at highest (30/10/06) £24 816Debt on 06/01/09 £2500Bank Charges Reclaimed from NatWest £14000 -
Holiday wise, I'm not a sun baby - charl - your location is SW - which airport?
I'm more remote Scottish cottage with open fire or wood burner and going to the local shop to get stuff for dinner. Obligatory pub within staggering distance!
I just found myself on one of the ticket sites again- why, why, why? I'm a Big Country girl not a Take That babe!0 -
Its Bristol Airport - don't suppose thats where you're flying from?!
I also like the idea of cottages and woodburners. Am mad enough to have planned a Lake District camping trip at Easter though!Lightbulb moment 30/10/06Debt at highest (30/10/06) £24 816Debt on 06/01/09 £2500Bank Charges Reclaimed from NatWest £14000 -
oh, that's a shame, I go from Bournemouth - I could have said hello!
Could be an expensive morning. I have to go to town to get my euros, I still need one more daytime top for my holiday and I still need washing powder. That means I will be tempted by the clothes shop to spend more than planned and lured by the supermarket to buy what I don't need!
I must be strong!0
