i've got £1.67 of my Sunday to Friday Moozie challenge left. Not bad as I only gave myself a budget of £10! I resisted takeaway twice and also resisted getting a taxi to the court yesterday (rubbish parking). I need to buy something for dinner so I'm going to get some mince and I'll do chilli tonight as I have all the other ingredients.
It is weird not having a fridge freezer! I'm glad the old one went to a good home last night and I put my cider on the back door step to keep cold!!!
Waiting now for the new one and the bedroom furniture to arrive. Flat pack hell awaits.
Still haven't had the extra money Abbey need to give me from the court claim. They have 14 days to send it to me. If it still isn't in my account Monday i'll give the solicitor a gentle nudge.
Overdosed on the chocolates a tad.......whoops.......0 -
update!!!!! Fridge freezer here , half a tonne of flat pack furniture - packed into 47 boxes!!!!!!!
And a cheque from the Abbey for £349!! Happy days. I'll withdraw both claims after I bank the cheque tomorrow.0 -

oh dear..............I think I need to visit the naughty step........
I went to town to deposit the cheque from the Abbey yesterday. I haven't been into town for about 6 months and it wasn't a nice experience. I don't know why but it didn't feel good shopping and there was lots of teenagers hanging around (mostly girls surprisingly) looking like they were auditioning to be the next Vicky Pollard.
I decided to buy my holiday clothes......and not being the most svelte girly in the world, Top Shop and Primark weren't top of my 'must visit' shops (and the fact I'm about 20 years too old to even step inside Top Shop!!!).....and I spent £113.........OOUUUCCCCHHHHH.........sigh.......I then went to Marks and Sparks and was almost taken in by all the lovely food but resisted apart from two boxes of thai fishcakes costing £5...........whoops.....
Today life has got in the way money wise......my kitchen tap has been leaking for ages but today it all decided to go a bit mad and water started spurting out of the side of the tap and all over the worktop.
New tap time. Turned the water off and asked OH if he could fix a new tap - today. He apathetically said yes and cleared off home leaving me with no water and all the tools turned out of the tool box in the bedroom because he said he would need some washers later.
Went off to B+Q and almost spent £98 on a tap, but reined myself back in and spent just over £30.
OH is now ignoring his phone.....................ggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............0 -
OM,
He's probably going to buy a @cheap' washer made by Rover to save you some money...
