Does the one from centerprise have 3 users as well. Parent, learner and Guest?
the laptop I got had NO users at all, I had to set users for me and my son. I thought that was a good thing at the time but now I'm not so sure because it seems to be the most bugged computer I've ever used.

I have always been told it is better to just have one user otherwise you can end up using more hard drive space with duplicated files.
On this one I have deleted the Learner and changed the Parent name. It won't let me delete the Guest slot though!

Has anyone got the games such as solitaire etc to work yet?

just go into control panel, programs, then 'turn windows features on and off'

hope this helps

Thanks. I tried this but it kept saying could not change. Wasn't sure why so had to do a complete restore. All works OK now.
• Hi everyone

The Home Access team are looking for people who've had a grant to help promote the Home Access scheme by talking to the press. They asked us to post this messgae...

The Home Access team are interested in using the experiences of those who have already been involved in Home Access to promote the scheme to other families and make sure that those who need it most benefit. Please email homeaccess@becta.org.uk if you are interested in getting involved and someone from the team will contact you. At this stage, you would only be committing to a further discussion with the team and could still decide that you don’t actually want to get involved.

Thanks :)

Wendy

Ok finally managed to unlock the games. Install Itunes and MS Office 2010. lol.

Did a manufacturers reset. Installed Itunes and ms office. Went to programs in control panel, and the turn windows features on/off.

Until all that was done, none of the updates that automatically pop up were done. Then all the home access stuff uninstalled, and netintelligence uninstalled.

Hope this helps anyone else having issues.

Odd that I had to do that too. Maybe everyone should do it as soon as they get their laptops!
