Not sure what the problem was but PositiveIT told me to do a Factory reset. Bit of a pain but better now than in a few weeks.

At least all is OK now.

will a factory reset get rid of all the home access stuff too. This laptop wasn't set up properly by centerprise so I can access any of the installed educational stuff....so I would happily get rid of it.

Mine is from centreprise too looby75 & it just seems so complicated, I can't understand it all let alone the kids! I thought it would be straight forward for the kids to understand & navigate.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

this one certainly isn't. I keep getting all kinds of error messages, no games (not that that's really a problem) I've turned netintelligence off as it was blocking the school website.

I tried installing itunes so I could update my ipod (bought while I was working before anyone jumps on me) and it caused the whole of windows to crash.

No it doesn't sadly. Though I have got rid of net intelligence and have deleted all the shortcuts on the desktop. Might delete some of the applications in time but will see if the kids ever use them first.

Does the one from centerprise have 3 users as well. Parent, learner and Guest?
