    im well chuffed, i got a firm job offer this morning from the nursery where i know the manager. plus i got put straight onto the books of the first nanny agency i was interviewed at, the second one cancelled on me, meeting them tomorrow instead - so got two interviews tomorrow.
    iv removed half a room of wood chip paper in the front room,omg talk about mission impossible. i would like to get hold of the person who superglued it on and give them a long talking to! i picked up 10 wallpaper sample books off freecycle last year, its a lot of lovely luxury paper and im going to patchwork it onto the walls. yes it will take flippin ages to do but i reckon it will look fab. bit too shabby chic for some im sure but it could look really good if i get the colours right and plus its totally free:money:
    no fags for me since friday night - and i feel fine. bf is home tho, iv told him if he has one puff around me im kicking him out, tough love is needed
    today was think FINANCES day, and i thought i need to get on my bf case about getting a job and support me a bit more, iv carried him for months so its only fair. i will do an income v outgoing for feb tomorrow.
    i did my cleaning downstairs for the day, just missed doing any washing, but i got absorbed doing the wallpaper stripping so im not going to beat myself up over it;)

    And also on being a non-smoker! I can't say I've been through it but it must help with the finances a great deal! :j

    GO FOR THE PATCHWORK!!! Squares or strips - and pleeeeease post up a pic!

    I would love to do it but OH would have a fit! :)
    start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
    end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
    I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!
  • thanks everyone! my oh IS having a fit. we are both giving up smoking and i think he is really struggling with it, then there's me saying 'should i go for this pattern or like this, and should i paint the floor boards, should i gloss in white or magnolia etc etc' poor soul he's had enough and gone out lol
    i will post a pic when im done but that will be a long time away yet, got to paint the ceiling, fill holes, sand the door, do the glossing and lay the carpet before i start doing my wallpaper patchwork. better get cracking eh xx
