On the health side - when you go to work get off the bus/train earlier and walk the rest (if feasible!) or park the car a mile away and walk the rest. Not sure if you'd have lift/stairs to deal with where you are but take the stairs rather than the lift - it all adds up
(says he who walks up 7 storeys )
Finances - Might also be worth having a look at the £100 to 10k challenge in up your income....
hiya
its about having the time at the mo, but i will put going on the wii into my routine when iv worked out what im at.
the 100 to 10k looks interesting but im not that organised yet, will look again when im feeling the benefits of having taken my first few steps on ebay and tidied my house xxI can choose happiness whenever I wish no matter what my circumstances

Well done Renovation.girl for posting. I too see many similarities to my life in your post.
All I would say is try not to do too much too soon as you will burn yourself out and probably find it harder to achieve your goals.
Having said that, if you tackle some of the areas you will find that in achieving a goal in one area it will automatically have an affect on another, i.e. decluttering - selling = less messy house and more money!
Also, incorporating exercise into your everyday habits, i.e. whilst sitting at computer you can do "bum crunches" (for muscle tone not cardio vascular workouts!) and also do your pelvic floor exercises, I also hold in my tummy and relax (tummy crunches) and also crunch my (pecks?) to try to hinder the southbound journey of my boobies. It's all stuff you can do whilst chilling at your pc or sitting reading a mag or even driving! Remember, diet to lose, crunch to tone.
Good luck in your quest.

ren girl. I always find that when my house is a mess my mind is a mess, my friends know that the state of my house is a reflection of my mental health (house clean tidy and organised at the mo thanks to snow and an inability to get out! ha ha ha) I would suggest that a good tidy day should be the starting point if you are anything like me!0

Hi - trying to do very similar in most areas at the moment too. Good luck, and will keep lurking!

hi i hope everything works out for you. some of my life is a mess i dont really have friends. if my house is a mess im stressed i would love to be different but it never seems to last:j0

i only have two of those points, finances (obviously) and house
Finances; im doing the 10k in '10 challenge, i know that i wont be able to reach 10k, but if i just clear those pesky debts then i can start next year DF
House; my house needs a complete rehaul, new kitchen/bathroom/windows, rewire and new central heating system, (not that much then):rotfl::rotfl:, but OH is sorting that lot out, thank god for friends who are plumbers and sparkys:D
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

thank you everyone for your replies xx theres a lot of nice people on here and it is good to read your comments, i really feel better this morning
yesterday was a good day. i did half the washing so my house now looks like a chinese laundry, but it should be mostly dry so i can do the other half today.
i did my meal plans and ordered 3 weeks of shopping from tescos, it came to £85 but included cat food, washing powder, toilet rolls etc, but i shouldnt need a thing for 3 weeks and thats for a family of four with two cats. it should have been less than that but i studied nutrition so always have to get wholewheat/unrefined/organic yes i know its expensive but i cant help it
i did a bit of cleaning in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen but today im going to do downstairs including the front room which means paperwork, i think there are a few ignored bills but im going to deal with them today
the thing im looking for is my mojo, i dont think im going to find it under piles of laundry or paperwork lol xxx
see u laterI can choose happiness whenever I wish no matter what my circumstances

OMG I'm crunching too!!! Maybe just reading this post over and over will do the trick :rotfl:
I think as my finances are such a big project I may try and have a cleaning the house day as suggested....a clean and tidy house does make you feel so much better (although making it stay that was is the challenge!!) and will give me the boost to tackle the big stuff
I've planned my meals with what's in the freezer and cupboards and the help of the recipes on here....I'm amazed at how many meals I have.
Am still going to struggle to make my money stretch to the end of the month but will look at the up the income thread to see if there are any quick tips
Thankyou everyone, I've been really depressed, especially over christmas which is meant to be a special time, but now I'm starting to feel like maybe I can improve things and not just end up losing everything0
