Does the same apply if I'm moving from Orange PAYG to Orange contract?
In my case the Orange PAYG number was orig on contract, and the new Orange contract would be through CPW.
It's annoying that the provider/retailer website don't make these things clear.
When they wouldn't let me port my number from one Orange contract to another Orange contract, it was suggested that I could change to PAYG and then after 6 months change to an Orange contract to keep my number. Check with them but I think the problem is only when you go from one Orange contract to another Orange contract - great how they treat loyal customers innit??? :rolleyes:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
gtz101 wrote:excellant decision. They are all dicks basically

stick with 02, and enjoy free international calls and 0844, 0845, 0870 and 0800 numbers (from your Xnet minutes)
When I call on 0800 on my O2 it tells me the call isn't free and to remove the 0 at the beginning of the number
Am I doing something wrong0 -
Nope, you're not. What the notice means is that the call isn't free in the way a freephone call usually is. (if it were, it wouldn't even deduct your free minutes
). Drop the first 0 and call as usual, check your next bill if you're not convinced
Correction to gtz101's post: 0844, 0845, 0800 and 0870 calls are considered fixed line calls by O2. If your inclusive minutes allow you to call landlines, you can call those numbers from your minutes.0 -

you can go from an orange PAUG to contract its called an NT3 connection, this has to be done when the contract is started cant be done later!!
the only thing is i would check with CPW whether they will let you do that and keep the same cashback deal usually they wont as they get less comission for an NT3 connection so maybe out of pocket with the cashbackYes Your Dukeiness
