I left Orange for '3' last September. I've had a lot less hassle from '3' than I did with Orange. Plus the reception in my area is a lot better with '3' than it is with Orange. I personally wouldn't recommend Orange. I'd been with them for 4 years and I had taken far to little in the past to stay with them. As soon as I really demanded something in return for my custom, they didn't want to know!

OH is only stikcing with them because of his 5 yo tariff (everyday 50?)... He is getting p'd off at the itemised billing and the 18 months contract upgrade.

Recently he was offered a new phone for his loyalty of 5 years, while, strangely enough, they had been trying to make him change his contract to something less advantageous for him for the past 3 years.

Long story short: he got charged 150 pounds for the phone and had to phone them several times to get a bloody refund on it.

Aye, I'm off as well, as per my thread. The executives office phoned me up a couple of days ago and offered me 200 x-net minutes and some texts for £25 per month. I pointed out that 3 would do me 400 x-net minutes and some texts for £17 per month on their specials page - the guy said they wouldn't match 3 tarrifs, so I requested that they don't call me again.

How things have changed. My recent dealings with NTL have been a delight - Orange always used to be the best. Now, NTL wipe the floor with them. Never thought I'd see the day that I recommended NTL customer service over Orange orangutans...

    :)

I was shocked when I called Orange to say i wanted to buy out my contract, they didn't even attempt to retain my business, even tough I regularly spend over £100 a month with them....

I'd stay with vodafone if i were you, no ques on CS lines and english people on the other end.

Orange currently have average waiting time of 12 - 20 minutes and untrained non fluent foreign people on the other end.

3 is supposed to be pretty poor for signal and o2 have mixed reviews.
