I would have to be one super thick person to defraud the council while my husband works at the council!..think about it.
I was stupid to think that his mail coming here was an ok thing to do.....but why did I come off of benefits if my intention was to fiddle them!
His Government pension of course :cool:0 -

they had also done survellience on her for 3 months leading up to the letter she was sent.
she is still waiting for the outcome but is expecting to repay all the benefit she shouldnt of had and i dont know what else x0 -

I just find it mind boggling that anyone thinks that they can de-fraud the system for 2 years so blatently and get away with it, as the thread has gone on more and more has come out to bury her yet she still cant see it or even accept the best advice which ie to seek legal help before going to the IUC.0

What I don't understand is if he was originally just her carer, and only became her boyfriend a few months ago, over what period was he having his mail delivered to her address?
If he can prove he had his mail redirected to hers fairly recently, perhaps that would count as evidence that he was just sorting out the details prior to moving in.
However if he has always had his mail sent there, even when it was simply a "working relationship", it does sound a bit suss.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I work for a council and often have to give statments to the team that deals with benefit fraud. They will have done their homework well before calling you in for the interview.
If you have been commiting benefit fraud, which is essentially steeling from everyone on this site who pays taxes, then I hope you get in very serious trouble from the courts. Having to repay all stolen monies in full and a fine on top!
If you havnt been commiting benefit fraud then you will get it sorted out okay.
The problem with this forum is sometimes when people come on here for advice they dont divulage all relevant facts! Not that im saying you are in this category.. .. ..When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0
