hi, well its all such a mess now! I called the crisis number and explained things to them, well anyway he's in hospital the social worker and doctors offered him a bed and he took it, but he didn't really have much choice, he has gone willingly and not been sectioned. I know he's in the right place for help but I know he'll never forgive me for this! I feel I've really let him down.
You haven't let him down. You would be letting him down if you'd let him go into a full blown relapse. My friends husband was run over and killed during one of his relapses. You'd rather have him sorted out with adjusted medication if appropriate and back home with you wouldn't you? As you say his medication has disappeared, it may just be a case of making sure he takes it rather than adjusting it, but either way it sounds like you've caught it in time. Hugs.0 -
Glad he went in willingly in the end and they found him a bed pretty quick. You did the right thing. Try and take sometime now to concentrate on yourself and the kids , you deserve a break. Once he's well again he'll understand you did this cos you love him and you were doing the best for him (and you and the kids), pleas edon't feel bad about it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
