    Hi all,

I've had a busy week but managed to complete 3/3

Had a read of zest magazine at work - they have a 4 week exercise programme , day 1 cardio, day 2 moves, day 3 rest, day 4 cardio, day 5 moves, day 6 rest etc.

I'm out late Weds night so that will be an ideal rest day will start this programme tomorrow!

    Hello there!
Could I please join in with this... I lost a fair bit of weight last year through healthy eating and going to the gym, but as the winter nights drew in I kind of... stopped going :o (kept paying though ).

I've managed to stay eating healthily and only put a few pounds on, but I still want to lose about a stone or so.

I find that once I'm into the habit of getting to the gym I'm fine and I really enjoy it, but its just those first few times! Now the snow has cleared up I'm going to make tomorrow my first day of the new regime.
I have a gym subscription and also a couple of Davina DVD's so there should be no excuse!

I hope to be back here tomorrow with a success story 1/3!

Ive been so crap today, did so well yesterday and am aching today so i know its working. BUT i didnt have any cereal this morning and forgot i had fruit at work so ate biscuits and chocolate and had a decent dinner but then pigged out again. Now feel kinda sick. Going to put a line under today and start again tomorrow in terms of eating. Why do i do this?

OK - well my good intentions for today failed because an old colleague dropped into work and so I didn't leave till half six, then had to make dinner and do the ironing.

Felt guilty though so I bopped around to some music whilst ironing, and then did some lunges so I'm going to count that as 1/2 a session! Must get my act together tomorrow though.

I did eat healthily though, fruit and fibre for breakfast, ham salad wrap and a yoghurt for lunch, and a pork steak with vegetables for dinner.

Skaps, don't worry about the odd pig out day. As long as you are exercising as well you can allow yourself the odd slip. Is there any way you could not buy things in that you might be tempted to pig out on? I still have some Christmas chocolates left and I can't resist them, but once they are gone I won't be buying anything unhealthy in. I usually keep plain yoghurt in and if I feel like something sweet I'll have some with honey.

I tend to eat when I'm bored, and what I've started to do is if I'm tempted to snack I put some clear nail varnish on my nails! Makes it much more difficult and takes my mind off it too!

Good tip about the nail varnish. The problem with the junk food is that my OH likes to snack on them so i get tempted although it was at work that the temptation set in. I'm going to do the yoghurt thing as I used to do this and forgot how nice it is. Thanks for the advice. :D
