Hi guys, had to resurrect this thread to let you all know I haven't wavered. I've done my 3x every week bar the fortnight I was away in September and then some.

In the month I've been back from hols I got straight back to pre hols and have done 7x sessions each week. Should be 8 this week.

For the poster above who was going to go twice a day however many times a week - it's not as hard going as it sounds. In fact, you may find you get a much better workout by breaking things into two sessions than having one long one. Where I go many people stay for 2 classes but I think the second hour for me I wouldn't work so well - but if I go for an hour's swim in the morning then a class after work I can do it fine.

I do feel shattered by Fri eve but I am really quite going for it with the swimming.

I start my week on a Tuesday - went to Keep Fit last night (45 mins). Zumba tonight - (45 mins). Just need to squeeze in another hour somewhere along the line!

So glad you resurected the thread SandyC as I am in need of motivation.
    7 x a week - well done!
I have been going to the gym once or twice a week - but am determined to increase this and not to wait as usual or New Year.
This week - 30 min Gym on Monday, Belly Dancing on Thursday and just off to Kick aerobics now - that that will be my 3 for this week.
Going to try Zumba next week - looks good.

Ahem, I've done 7 hours this week. That's my usual actually but I'm still trying to slowly lose weight so 3x isn't really enough right now.

    Keep on keeping on everyone!

I have found that dieting doesn't really work long term for me (put it back on plus a bit extra) so I am hoping to lose weight through excercise and sensible eating. SandC would be interested to know how many hours a week were you doing before it began to have an effect on your weight.

Couldn't get to the gym over the weekend, so 40 min of wii dance today, that makes 3 for this week.

    Plans for next week -
    Monday - Zumba
    Tuesday - Step
    Thursday - Belly Dancing

Realistically I needed to be doing 5 hours per week. 3/4 hours weren't making any difference that I can see but, of course, my fitness was improving from day one. I would recommend anyone starts on 3x per week if they're going from couch potato like I was.
