Pleased to report that my first week back ended successfully (5? long, vigorous walks). Back to work on Tuesday, will need to remain focused and try to keep the momentum.
Gah - having to think about exercise is the only thing that I dislike about being an adult. When I was a kid I ran about like a nutter for about 3-4 hours a day and never thought about it once, now it involves a real effort to remember to do it!0 -
managed my 3/3 last week and this week am currently on 2/3 with a session at the gym today - yay! now the clocks have changed it'll be so nice to get back out walking at night.0

I firmly beleive that chocolate is good for the soul.......
It's no good for the hips though

Back from my holiday and took the bikes with me, so did loads of cycling all last week . Today I discovered a 10mile cycle trail so did that as it was such a beautiful day , tommorow I am going to try out another trail ( this time in a forest) with the kids in tow . Saving money too , because it keeps them busy and not costing me anything except the petrol to get to the starting point ( hope the weather holds up).0

All by Monday Skaps, good going!
Well I just about scraped it last week. I had done 3x by 1st April, then went away for the weekend and I would say earned 2x more with walks Easter weekend but only managed 2x swims last week. Not great but no easter eggs!
Just done my 1x this morning and am aiming for 5x this week.0 -
Ive done my 3 this week , went on my forest cycle trail on Tuesday , which was AWESOME , we had lovely weather ( at last) . Did 17 km , first 6km was a gradual slope uphill and killed my legs , but after this the rest was down hill and absolutely fantastic . So lovely to be outdoors and exercising , my 11 yr old loved it and we had a well deserved ice cream afterwards as we worked out we had burn't an ice creams worth of calories! Ive finished decorating my gym now , so going to start another 30 day challege on the Wii active tonight. Tommorow I'm going to sus out an off road bike track with loads of jumps and down hills ( do you think I'm going through a midlife crisis? I hit 40 last year and have the sudden urge to do extreme sports ..maybe jumping out of an aeroplane or bungie jumping is next lol) :rotfl::rotfl:0
