Managed to get my first of three in yesterday (jogging, compression socks made the world of difference for ma poor wee calves ;)) The only downside was it was a nightmare putting them on as they were so tight. Ah well, I can't have my cake and eat it too.

Going for my second exercise of the week today, a long but gentle walk around a beautiful Victorian cemetery.

Then a jog on Thursday and I'll be even Stevens with my exercise challenge for the first time in a few weeks :)

Did my first/3 this morning, half hour non stop swim. Will do a class tomorrow and Wed to get my 3/3 out of the way then I am off for a long weekend. It won't be one of overindulgence though and will involve at least 2 x 2/3 hour forest walks as well as looking around some castles so all good. Well that is unless I find some local fattening delicacy (Romania, I'm thinking they eat hearty but healthy pretty much eh?).

Have a good and fit week everyone. :D
  • Could I join please. I do tai-chi once a week, but not much else so could do with doing a bit more. Went for a brisk walk yesterday so that's a start.

Yeah all the time. Have been snacking less though it is really tempting. Lent has been a good excuse though not to eat things. I have given up chocolate, biscuits and crisps. It has been hard especially on days when i need a mood pick me up.

Candlesrus how many weeks in total have you done - realised i had not added you to the list. Sorry.

Ive done about 4 weeks now , just completed my 30 day wii active challenge , but going to have to take a break for a week from it because I will be on holiday , but going to take my new bike and the kids bikes with me so hope to do some cycling

Last week I failed miserably :(

Monday - too busy at work to go for run at lunchtime
Tuesday - had to work lunch as had to leave early for parents evening and that's far too important to miss.
Wednesday - went out for lunch
Thursday - had start of migraine, so couldn't run at lunchtime, missed pole class and said migraine lasted until yesterday morning

Feeling loads better now though and went for run yesterday and did half an hour of My Fitness Coach on wii tonight so feeling very pleased with myself. If the rain ever stops I'll go for a run tomorrow and Thursday too...or that is the plan.

This weather doesn't exactly inspire you to go out into the great outdoors :(. I'm in the middle of redecorating the gym , so the wii is out of action and so is the gym equipment. Unless painting and decorating counts as my exercise? ( well it was o.k for the "karate kid" lol) . I have been lugging furniture about all day too , so at least ive been a bit active .

Think I'm up to 4 for the week already! Have decided to just stick with the walking for exercise, as it's much lower impact than jogging and I don't get injured so easily :o

Pleased that I've actually lost 1lb in the last few weeks, surprising as my regime fell off a cliff somewhat. Perhaps I'm getting better at portion control? :D

Done my 3 lots of exercise this week. Power of 3 Davina on Sunday then Hannah Waterman on Tue & Wed. Hoping to fit in another go tomorrow. Wii Fit board tells me I've lost 1lb in the last 2 weeks which is definitely better than last time when I was doing the HW DVD for a couple of weeks and put 3lbs on. Although to be fair this is more to do with my addiction to sweet snacks than the effectiveness of the DVD :o
