Did 30mins of the Wii again tonight!
I'm actually surprised at how much it does work the cardio especially when you are just doing Hula Hooping and Stepping!
2mile walk tomorrow and I'll try and do a muscle workout on the Wii when I get back.
I had a hospital appt today as I had Gestational Diabetes - I know have a higher risk of getting it in later life so doing this exercise might help me put it off for a bit!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Just think how warm the exercise will make you! When I am cold in the house I try and have a mad 10minutes cleaning or jump on the WiiA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

my 3rd week is a write off, took a knock to my knee at football and i'm taking this week off.
Will be back on it next week though, need to start training for a 5k at the end of feb - i want to post a personal best and set a benchmark for my 10k in may0 -
You can do more rainbow81 if 3 times a week is not enough for you but at least this way you are more likely to make it a life change. Whats yogalates btw?
Oh it's a mixture of yoga and pilates, quite quick like yoga can be but incorporating the pulling in of the belly and pelvic floor like pilates. It's just one of my exercise DVDs, I haven't done it for ages so I gave it a go. I can't do the same thing all the time as I get bored by it.
No 3 times a week is great, this thread has helped me keep track whereas sometimes I kid myself that I've done something recently and actually a week has passed.0 -
Right , ive done 20 mins on the Wii ( boxing I find gets me the most out of breath , along with the jogging) . Ive also done 30mins on my crosstrainer ( 110 calories burned off )0

candles - I struggle with the boxing! I have no rhythm but Jack enjoys watching me do it! I find the burn when I do Hula Hooping for 6 minutes! I probably look like a right loon
Walked 2.6miles today with the boy strapped to my front! And will be doing 2.4miles tomorrow!
Looks like the Pram Walk on Friday is quite brisk and quite far so need to prep myself for that!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

i've looked at this thread and hopping someone can just give me a litle advise.
i'm so despreate to lose weight but cannot find the motivation to do it
i work nights so when i get up in the afternoon i'm not really motivated to start excersising and by the time i've had tea its time to leave for work.
i have a treadmill and dumbells at home but to be honest there just gathering dust as i don't use them but wish i could find the motivation to start using them i even purchased an mp3 player and downloaded fast music (disco) to keep me on the move while excercising but guess what i soon lost the motivation.
i'm in my 50's so not sure if my age is preventing me from being motivated my age is no excuse but working nights has made me a couch potatoe (i know elderly people excercise but they seem to be motivated which i'm not)
i'd be happy if i could lose 2 stone so can anyone suggest any tips pleaseeeeeeee0
