I'll have to look at that active trainer!

I have no idea how many calories I need to burn!

I am 5ft 1, weigh 8st - BMI around 22. So I don't wont to lose weight just firm up my post birth jelly belly!!!

Not doing anything today, I went to the Trafford Centre and met some of my MSE Mummy friends that I have met on this forum.

Plan is for a long brisk walk tomorrow with a friend OR if it's wet I'll do Wii Fit.

Go for it !! I'm doing around half an hour to 40 mins a day on the wii ( usually about 200 cal for most people ). I dont want to over do it as i have arthritis and don't want a flair up . The wii is perfect for me because its low impact and works a lot on stretches and flex exercises. When i get fitter I will start with more intensive exercise.
  • Hi

Well I have been rubbish with a cold since Monday, just feeling awful. Paracetemol hasn't touched it. I'm still sneezing But I really want to get my 3 days this week so I will just have to squash them up together.

I just did 30 minutes on step on the Wii, a completely easy one I know but I am poorly! I did it while I watched Secret Diary of a Call Girl so it was win-win!
  • Hi All

Went for a swim yesterday and am at the gym again tonight so that 3/3 for me. Week one completed and going well, onto week 2

3 extremely brisk and long walks this week. no wii fit but only because the weather has been so nice I've wanted to me out & about. Have probably walked about 10miles this week!

    Hi

I didn't get my 3 last week :( what with my cold. I did get out a bit more at the end of the week in the sun so I probably did some more activity than usual but I don't count walking as I don't so it specifically for exercise.

Well, it's a new week and I have 2 yoga classes booked which should help me somewhat!
  • Yesterday i was buzzing and went for a 3 mile, walk and run , then came home and a bit later did a 40 min workout on the wii . Today I feel stiff and sore so I think I overdid it a bit . Done a 40 min wii session tonight , so have done 4 sessions this week . I think I am going to invest in some resistance bands as the one that comes with my wii active isn't that good.

The exercise is definately making me feel good and I have noticed that the routines are getting easier

    :T well done everyone

Candles - another thing you could think about is using ankle/wrist weights. I plan to get some for when the long walks become 'easy'.

Will do a session on the Wii Fit tomorrow - Jack not been great today so I don't fancy taking him out tomorrow.

Yay that's an early start, Skaps.

I've got my 1/3 so far as I went to an extra yoga class at lunchtime. Ooh I feel so stretched!
