I priced them in Sephora while i was in the us this summer and it worked out the same price as i could get them for here. So I ended up getting them from boots when i got home, and got the advantage card points along with it :D

DO NOT buy them off ebay or Amazon, i bought some off ebay that broke 3 months later, when I contacted GHD with the registration number direct I was told they were fake!! so I lost £70.00 then I bought some off a shop on Amazon for £89.00 and they were delivered last week, I rang GHD to register them straight away and these were also fake!!! GHD have told me if you DO NOT buy them direct from them or from your local approved hairdressing stockist/salon they will more than likely be fake, they have had hundreds returned from AMAZON customers- so please be aware and it is worth spending that bit more to get genuine irons, the fake ones can be very dangerous!!! I have a claim going through with Amazon at the moment to get my money back but they are not being very helpful !!
I hope this helps - Regards Debbie

yeah but there are authorised dealers on ebay so although you were clearly ripped off this is an unfair statement, just ask your seller lots of questions before you bid and check his/her rep

I have just ordered a pair from the boots.com web site, price £98.00.

You get 392 advantage card points plus an extra 600 points as they've got an offer on at the moment if you spend more than £60 on their web site you get an extra 600 points.
So I got a total of 992 advantage card points, which is almost £10 worth. I thought this was a really good deal. The extra points offer is only running for one week from today.

Free postage, the order says they'll be delivered next Tuesday.

According to the web site, that is only available in South Wales and Tyne and Wear as atrial at the moment.

Also just a heads up that from October 25th-27th Boots.com are giving £15 worth of advantage card points when you spend £75. If you check the boots voucher codes thread there are codes for 500 points on a £50/£60 spend:

Plus you have your regular points which are around 400. So potentially you could earn £24 worth of points if you buy your GHDs on the website during that promotion.

No, that is if you order online and want to collect from a store rather than have it delivered to your home address.

You can go into the larger boots stores now and order any item from online and pay for them instore with either points or cash. This includes the GHD's. Here is a link to the most recent post i can find of someone who has done it:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=14890209&postcount=875

My store (Belfast) had signs up in the window a few weeks ago advertising the fact that you can now order GHD's instore. It seems to be the larger stores that are doing this though, so may be worth ringing your particular store first if you aren't sure.
