I got mine from ghd-uk.co.uk and they came the next day, and are genuine as i registered them on the ghd website. they came with a heat mat and heat spray for 99.99 with free delivery.i would recommend them just for pure speed of delivery!0

What's the heat mat? Is it for covering the styler?
I was thinking of ordering through Boots.com with them giving lots of points (almost £9 worth), but their delivery is so slow... Said it'll deliver on 22 Sep if I order today.:o
I might go for ghd-uk.co.uk. :cool:0 -

Has anybody tried these?
I can't decide whether to buy ghd or babyliss pro 230, but then someone else recommended these to me.0 -
I bought a babyliss pro, off eBay shop with a little bundle of accessories including clips and a heat mat for £20 inc postage, haven't had a problem and they work far better than the morphy richards my hubby bought for £80 a few years ago.
In fact the Morphy Richards probably got used about 30 times in 3 years, because I have to wear my hair up for work, and don't often get out. The coating wore off them in that time. Don't know if they have improved at all since, but definatly won't be buying again!
However, would certainly recommend the Babyliss pro one, its been fantastic so far, especially when I get my hubby to do my hair, it feels and looks as silky as a salon/GHD for a fraction of the price. Decided to get it based on ratings on the reviewcentre, and I'm very pleased I did.Lightbulb Moment April 2005Total Owed - £68986  (excluding mortgage)Payplan DMP began Sept 2005Amount paid to Date - £15330, £53656 to goDebt Free Date - April 20210 -
Hi girls
Im a hairdresser and i can tell you now that there is a much cheaper option. FHI straightners are amazing, you cant tell the difference btween FHIs and GHDs apart from the price. I got my FHIs from ebay and they were only £54 inc p&p also that came with sectioning clips and heat protecter for your hair. i would strongly recomend them0 -
yeah i got my missus the fhi for £54 as well from http://www.saloneasy.com/straighteners/fhi.htm . I would have bought them from eBay for about the same price, but something about ebay bugs me lol!0

lol yeh they are very good and for half the price of ghd's. i also bought mark hill ones from boots for £99.99 very expensive but they are very good. take it easy0
