OK to I am sure this kind of question has been answered before in this thread but I´ll fire away anyway - I have a pair of old GHDs but dropped them about a year ago - the result was that both ceramic plates fell out!!! I have been going GHDless for a whole year as I can´t bring myself to pay another 100 quid on a new pair - I don´t have my receipt either - Will they send me a new pair? Or I heard that some hairdressers gave 20 pounds off a brand new pair, if you brough in your old broken pair!

Anyone know if this offer still stands?

Any tips, I´d be most appreciated!
  • Be careful if you choose to buy one on ebay. There's a lot of people selling fakes, claiming theyre authentic

I'm wanting some ghd's but am very weary about buying them online due to fakes but online is about £20 cheaper than salons and you get the extra gifts/freebies too.

My mum was chatting to the hairdresser who said to be careful of fakes, lots of people bought online last year only to have problems an come and buy them in the salon. She then went on to say that ghd themselves don't even sell them online??!

I just want to know who sells them that are genuine, not had much luck with emails to ghd.

Anyone any advice? I just want a good price/package - well the best around whilst still ensuring that they are 100% genunine.

Do you have a link for tesco I couldn't find them on there.

Boots - have found cheaper with free stuff, on Boots it's just the straighteners and nothing else.
  • I am looking for GHD for my sister.I am sure i saw the MK 3 model somewhere on the internet, but have looked every where and now cannot find them.
I have been looking for straighteners for myself and have decided to go for FHI,reviews are excellent.I would not bother with GHD again as mine have been snagging my hair for a while and i have only had them 18 months.

Just looked & can't find them on Tesco (mine were from Tesco - mail order).

I know lots of places are cheaper than Boots, BUT Boots don't sell fakes & if they blow up you can take them into the shop & sort it out;)
  • Just came across these,https://www.hairhotspot.com/allnewhairhotspot/AllGHD.aspx will these be genuine for this price?
