I went from Babyliss (which i thought were good) to KODO (which i thought were amazing) to GHD and now i would never look back.
GHD's (to me) are by far the best and worth splashing out that extra bit of money....just wish i'd bought them 1st time round instead of 3rd time!!

    HOT PINK GHDs

On fri 25th July I ordered a pair of pink GHDs from hair care heaven - they arrived on the monday - are genuine as have typed code into ghds website and are fab.

I know its not on the list someone was emailed last week but if you go on the GHd site it is an official retailer - think its a hairdressers in Leeds. They were £125 but look great and work brill too. Im very happy with them.

  • Another vote for GHDs here - they spend most of their time in my daughters bedroom but we share them really.
Good luck with your straighteners though. :j

I was told by my hairdresser to get some called ghd but she said these are £125 :eek:

Is it worth the price or are there any that are alot cheaper and just as good?

If not can I get them any cheaper than that?

    Many thanks

Shes dead right, they are THE straightners:D

Ive had the wet to dry ones for over 2 years and i loved them, but last week i decided to take the plunge and buy some GHD's, do it you wont regret it! My hair is super thick and below my shoulders, they actually look like ive just come out the hairdressers when i use them!! Yes they are expensive but they really are worth it, and GHD are good at replacing them if something should go wrong, usually within 14 days. (this happened to my friend and they sent her some new ones within 7 days).
i got mine from boots.com, i bought the ghd styler IV for £98 and got 1500 points back (about £15) on my boots card, free delivery and they came within 2 days. i only wish i'd taken the plunge years ago!

I saw an article in a magazine once that was going on about GHDs and getting people to try alternatives and Tescos own brand ceramic coated straightners came out tops, so i bought a some, well over a year ago and their really great, and they cost £7.99. So good that i have told friends and family about them and my sister who had GHDs until her daughter broken them, bought some and she loved them that much that she bought some for each of her daughters so they didn't have to keep taking hers.

They don't drag your hair out, and they get realy hot and do the job.
  • I bought a pair of pink GHD's from www.puresilky.com on 7th July. I received a couple of emails from them thanking me for order and then confirming they had received payment. They said I would receive them in 7-10 days. In that time, they have closed their website and haven't responded to any emails.

How do people like this live???!!!!!

I got GHDs recently, they're lovely. I got them from ghd-uk and they cost £100 including delivery, a heat mat and spray protector.

It's not bad considering you get a 2 years warranty so they should last that long at least. Which works out at £50 a year - less than £1 a week - which I think is pretty reasonable for perfect hair all the time.
