  • @elaine221081 - sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties in claiming your cashback. So we can direct you to the appropriate cashback form to complete, it will probably be best if you call on 0800 599 9955 (I wouldn't ask for your email address in an open forum)

    @dacouch - you ask how answers are prompted by posts on this thread - posts made get alerted to us both by email updates from MSE and by means of a Google Alert. So if customers are having difficulties in making a claim there is another means of us finding this out.


    BTQ Representative - thanks for your reply. I have now called this number twice and been told both times someone is looking into my cashback claim and will email me back that day. Surprise surprise, I'm still waiting!!! :(:( It's really a matter of prinicple now, why offer something you are not willing to follow through with......

    Call it a lucky guess but I have a feeling Elaine's (And this post) will shortly be deleted by MSE as happens to most of the unhappy posts on this thread. I can't imagine why MSE would delete posts that are not complimentry of a company that pays them a referral fee.

    P.S I know MSE is not for profit but they are normally so above board with everything so why delete posts from this thread
  • Your probably right dacouch. Obviously BTQ have no intention of giving me the cashback promised on their website. To be perfectly honestly it was the main reason I decided to go with them (everyone likes a good offer now and then). Only it's not a good offer if they don't make good on their promise.

    I think you will get it, you just have to come on this thread and make some noise, there have been a fair few others who have had problems and posted and got their money. It's odd why MSE don't leave their posts up for all to see though

    I called them again and am now being told I completed the wrong form and they could not match up my claim form to the insurance I purchased. So they've emailed the "correct" form which looks exactly like the form I already filled in. I've been assured they will process the claim this time as quickly as possible. Hmmm we shall see!!!!

    To be fair though the guy I spoke to was very helpful and managed to tell what the other 2 before him haven't. Fingers crossed.

    Latest update - they have received my claim form and have passed to accounts to process, money should be with me 12-16 days. So I guess persistence does get you somewhere.

  • Thanks BTQ Representative - I received the reply from your colleague on Friday afternoon yes, however have not received a phone call. I'm grateful for your assistance and hopefully the money will be in my account on 16th April as promised.
