BeatThatQuote.com refusing cashback

            Hi.
I can assure you that we do send an email confirming to customers the details of their cheapest quote on our site, along with details of how to claim cashback (it cannot be claimed until the policy has been in force for 60 days).
However, we do have incidents from time to time where emails from us end up in spam folders, so it is worth checking there too.“Official Company Representative

Thanks for the reply but believe me I have not received any emails from BTQ directly. I have received some from Hastings Direct who I have taken the insurance out with via your site but none from yourselves. Plus no replies from the feedback form I completed twice on your website. I have checked my spam folder too.
Can I ask what you suggest I do now ? I know you state I have to wait for 60 days but I dont want to get to 60 days and then find out that I shouldve done something before then.
Any advice you can give would be appreciated. All my quotes are saved on your website.
 Thanks.0

            Hello again
Apologies for the difficulties you are encountering with your email.
As explained further up this post, the 60 day period is to allow sufficient time for the insurers and brokers on our panel to report back to us the policies that have been sold. Then, when you make a claim, we can "match" this to the policy and then pay the cashback amount. I can therefore put your mind at rest that you don't need to do anything else before then!
If we do not find your policy initially, we may need to make further enquiries with the insurer or broker you advise us the policy was bought from. But these instances are very much in the minority.
On your other point, I have looked at the emails received from our "Contact Us" link and can see that we received one from you on May 1st and this was marked as resolved yesterday afternoon, so I will speak to the person concerned and establish where they sent the email.
Once again, apologies for the inconvenience.“Official Company Representative

Hi again. thanks for coming back. When it comes upto the 60 days should i receive an email from BTQ telling me to claim or is it down to me? it just seems a little 'cloudy' at the moment.
If you could look into the email that was sent to me but not received I would appreciate it.0

Hi, you can make a claim yourself directly when the policy has been in force for 60 days, and whilst I can confirm we do send a reminder email, it is possible that this may also go into the black hole!
My colleague mailed you separately last week - did you receive that one?“Official Company Representative

hi, me again. Last monday i filed my claim for the £25 cashback. The autoreply on the website said i would get an automatic email confirming the claim but i have yet to receive it. So far, just to clarify, I have yet to receive a single email from BTQ during the whole ins quote to taking it out so i do fear that getting this cashback wont be as easy as it should be. Can someone from BTQ check on the progresson the claim please and reply on here. Maybe you could leave a number and person for me to contact to discuss this further?0

I've tried claiming for cashback after buying insurance through BTQ in November 2010 and still haven't heard a thing from them. I've never received one single email from them.
I can only assume they dangle the cashback offer in front of you then conveniently forget about it!!:(0

Now you have posted on here, they will suddenly start answering you and my post will probably be deleted by MSE0

@elaine221081 - sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties in claiming your cashback. So we can direct you to the appropriate cashback form to complete, it will probably be best if you call on 0800 599 9955 (I wouldn't ask for your email address in an open forum)
@dacouch - you ask how answers are prompted by posts on this thread - posts made get alerted to us both by email updates from MSE and by means of a Google Alert. So if customers are having difficulties in making a claim there is another means of us finding this out.“Official Company Representative
