if you not on income support or jsa ib then you are not entitled
  • Hi,
I am a bit confused about the cold weather payments.
I am on ESA and I also have a daughter on high rate DLA so we get the sever disability rate with child tax credits.
Does this mean we are entitled to the cold weather payments as i have not received any payments.
    Thank you
    Avril

Dare I ask, my wife is on DLA at the higher rate, as she is unable to leave the house alone (walking/balance issue) she also receive incapacity benefit, I am just an oap. so, any chance of the cwp for us I ask myself, we receive no other benefits.
