  • If you are on contributions based you are not entitled to it, however if you are on income based you will get it. However I am entitled to both and eligible for both but for CWP I am classed as contributions based...

    Guess no heating for me this winter... I make sacrifces elsewhere for heating in this weather and extra layers of clothing are fantastic

    3 triggers in my area but no payment made. I recieve IS and my son gets dla. Apparently we qualify for it but whoever I speak to cant give me an idea of when it will be paid. Anyone else in this situation?

    how old is son do you get a disability premium with income support

    My son is five. We get a disability premium with ctc. Any advice appreciated

    income support have to do scans to find out who gets tax credits with child disability element this has to be done manually and take longer than normal

  • I also qualify for CWP as I am on IS and have a child on HRC and HRM DLA (with disability and enhanced disability elements on CTC). Last year, I had to ring up to ask about my payments.

    There have been four triggers so far and none paid again. Richard9991, thank you for explaining why the payments take so much longer.

    I'm on IS and Carers Allowance/DLA for son and have just had my first payment of 4 paid into my bank.
  • Hi, im on income support & get paid by giro. I live in the BH11 area & according to the post code checker, i should receive 3 cold weather payments. It seems everyone else has received them except for me.
