Same here, wouldn't worry about it yet, this thread is full of people from last year getting impatient and complaining they hadn't received it but did eventually. If you've not had any payment after a month then I'd start chasing it up.

But before the predictable fun and games kick off, can people please just read the following:

The postcode checker does not tell you if you are entitled to a cwp, it only tells you which AREA qualified for a cwp

You may be eligible for a Cold Weather Payment if you get Pension Credit or income-related Employment and Support Allowance with a support or work related activity component in the main phase.

    OR

You may also be eligible for a Cold Weather Payment for each qualifying week if you are getting Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance or income-related Employment and Support Allowance in the assessment phase AND have one of the following:
    • a pensioner premium, higher pensioner premium or enhanced pensioner premium
    • a disability premium, enhanced disability premium or severe disability premium
    • a disabled child premium
    • Child Tax Credit that includes a disability or severe disability element
    • a child who is under five in the family

Are you actually in receipt of any of the qualifying benefits?:
Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance or income-related Employment and Support Allowance in the assessment phase AND have one of the following:
    • a pensioner premium, higher pensioner premium or enhanced pensioner premium
    • a disability premium, enhanced disability premium or severe disability premium
    • a disabled child premium
    • Child Tax Credit that includes a disability or severe disability element
    • a child who is under five in the family

It may depend on what ESA you are currently getting - assessment phase or main phase ESA. In the post above yours is a list of certain groups who qualify for a Cold Weather Payment while in the assessment phase of ESA. If you are in the assessment phase of ESA but do not qualify under any of those examples then you won't qualify for a CWP - you would need to be in the main phase of ESA and receiving either a Work Related or Support component to otherwise qualify.

The relevance of 1 November is that this is the date each year that the Cold Weather Payments scheme starts (it ends on 31 March the following year), so looking at the CWP postcode checker you will always see 1 November as the first date (with the date as of yesterday as the second date), it doesn't mean you were due a payment from 1 November. Most parts of the country have had all their CWP's triggered from mid November onwards.
  • :mad:i am entitled to coldweather payments but still have not recieved any
  • OL12 had all my payments. They seem to get paid in on a Wednesday.
