Right, I am going to S&S the bathroom whilst running a bath. Must check no cats are upstairs after being woken at 2am this morning by George sat on my head as she decided to forgive me for standing on her on Sunday and clean my nose at the same time. Cat breath and sandpaper tongue at 2am. *shudders*

Ditto, was awoken at 4am by our cat this morning scratching to go out...

, erm you never rested or recovered properly from the glandular fever, if you don't it can develop into M.E. please try to rest as much as you can, no amount of will power or determination gets you 'over' M.E. very similar to Lymes.....i.e. truly, truly awful. xxxx

I have been awake for about an hour and so got up so as not to disturb OH. I have made the lunches for tomorrow so when I do get back to sleep I can stay in bed a bit longer.

I am ashamed to say that after having all my work/study stuff to do before Christmas I haven't really achieved anything and deadlines are starting to loom up on me. I have just made a to-do list for work tomorrow and it is huge. I am hoping to get it all crossed off before I come home and then I may have a chance of sleeping tomorrow night. Annoyingly I spent all last night on the sofa falling asleep

    Morning All

More snow here overnight but not snowing at the moment so not sure whether they'll shut the schools or not.

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Greenbee - have a wonderful day!

Going to do a HHI then I'll see if we've heard any more on the school situation.

    Have a good day all

    Morning all,

up and awaiting a call from the school to do something with the website - not sure if it'll be we are open or closed yet... we didn't have mega amounts of snow, but it has melted a little & refrozen, so very icy, and school is in a rural location with hilly approaches & nowhere near a gritted A road....so we'll see..

quick coffee and then a pootle or two until the phone rings, or I could go cuddle back under the duvet with the phone? Hmm

checking here all Bordon schools are closed - someone asked yesterday?

We've had snow and plenty of it! At least 4 inches - in some parts of the county they're saying over a foot. Am listening to radio to hear if DDs school is closed...not yet, but it seems every other school in our town is! Headteacher probably lives next door to the school and hasn't ventured out yet!

Didn't have such a good flying day yesterday - had unexpected company so only managed to maintain the kitchen and do a couple of things about the place:

Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and landing!
    Level One
Strip wash and replace the bedding!
[STRIKE]Declutter the floor.. laundry gone, shoes gone.. etc[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clear a box of stuff from the landing.[/STRIKE]
    Vacuum and turn the mattress
    Vacuum the floors
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Tidy a chest of drawers/wardrobe.. is there anything past its best that can go live elsewhere?[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear and tidy the top of a wardrobe/COD and replace only what is necessary.. surely you don't need it all!?[/STRIKE]
Wash curtains/blinds that are in need. Can't do. No way of drying them and no spares. Noted for later in the year.

Right, am off to listen to the radio some more. Hope she gets a day off...we have a fair old walk - almost a mile - and I'm not looking forward to it...

    Hope everyone is well?
    Take care
    D

  • Right - we're closed so best get busy with the website...

Morning everyone and happy birthday Greenbee!

No flying done here last night, but I will catch up by the end of the week (or the weekend, more likely!).......today is the lounge, though, which is a whole lot easier to do than it was a few weeks ago, so I will whizz through that after work - and really loving the "me time" that is included in the list :D

Take care in the ice, everyone x
