Morning,
Guess what!! It snowed!! Quite a bit actually!
DS school is shut. Still waiting to hear on Miss Tags but I think it's more than likely.
Sweepy dog whizzed round the garden like a mad thing this morning. She lubs the snow!!
Suppose I'd better go on a listy hunt then ................
Yep Miss Tag's is shut as well. They've just sent a text message out. I think it's a fab idea that they started last year. Especially at a time like now. I can't get onto the local radio website to see the school closures as there's too many people trying to access it.0 -

Thanks MOAM - but I had an early wake up call at 6:10 letting me know and I have done my round of phonecalls! It stopped snowing here before I went to bed but Bordon and surrounding areas seem to have had up to 8 inches and it's still snowing there!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Morning folks. One school shut hoping for the other so I don't have to struggle to work - school run will be worse as that's the rural part. Virtually every school is closed but nothing from Primary DS2 goes to. I know a certain no of the teachers live in the area.

Morning all
A lot less snow here than predicted overnight! However more is predicted. Have spoken to colleague and told the consultants not to come. I will try and get to work, looks like there won't be too much of a problem, and then will just keep an eye out and leave if it starts snowing. I'm going to take a flask of coffee and one of the silver blankets from the walking bag with me just in case of problems, and will wear my walking boots.
Right, I'm usually out of the door by now but so far not even dressed. Better get sorted, shower and get out. Will aim for the 0823 train, which means leaving about 8 as it will take a while to get to the station I think. I think porridge might be in order for breakfast though!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Err....think the Met office are fighting a losing battle! Everytime I log on theres a different forecast! I return to work today following my long term sick and am supposed to be going into the office for a few hours - not sure its such a good idea to travel there. At least I've got the set up to work from home so might log on here and plough through the 100's of emails waiting for me! I'm worried that it will overwhelm me with jobs that I will need to do just to catch up with now! Typing this now and getting more and more anxious - really don't think I can do this. No, I'll be positive, I won't know until I try will I? I just know I can't get to the stage I was at before and am scared of that I suppose.

Lala - if you decide to work from home - I'm going to walk as both schools are still open at the moment - break the emails down as you would any other jobs - look at 5 or 10 then have a break - delete any straight away that you don't need to do anything for - and don't think about the rest - just concentrate on a few at a time. - hugs.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20
