Hello
I;m still here. Tired as can be but no going to bed as there is so much to do but I won't do it becuase that will create an even bigger mess. Made diner tonight and it has taken me hours to destroy the kitchen and I just look at it and despair. Have washed up half the things used and left them to drain. I cry every time I go in my room. I can't chuck stuff or I'd have nothing to wear. Can't buy new as OH is being made redundant in March. Most of my stuff doesn't fit. Have put on weight instead of losing. Am now rambling. Will come back tomorrow when maybe I will be able to put my head on straight.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

A little bit at a time over the course of days, weeks or even longer is the way to go

Don't get stressed about it - we've all been there. Don't do anything else before you go to bed. You need to get some sleep. Start again afresh tomorrow with Level 1 of Living Room/Hall/Stairs.
As for your clothes, get them sorted out, washed, ironed and put away, with the ones that you can still wear most accessible. The rest at least will be there for when things improve, and for the moment are out of the way. I'm not surprised your weight isn't doing what you want if you've got the stress of OH's redundancy hanging over you.
Try to find 10 minutes tomorrow to go for a brisk walk - the fresh air/snow/rain or whatever should make you feel better. When I was going through my redundancy process in the summer, I used to go for walks through the woods and onto the downs as a kind of therapy. Outdoors and exercise helps. (Most of my clothes don't fit, hence the diet & fitness drive!)
As for the state of the kitchen - you won't be the only one of us whose kitchen is only lovely for the 10 minutes after we've finished the list. But don't forget, you got it CLEAN so underneath the clutter, it still is, and will be easier to get back in shape next time than last time. Maybe wash a couple more bits up before breakfast, and then with the breakfast stuff, and it'll soon be gone. Personally I'm a big fan of piling things up carefully. Even the aftermath of cooking and eating looks less daunting if it's stacked neatly!
Hope you feel more positive tomorrow. And now I really am off... last hot water bottle to make, then wash, scrub teeth and into bed!0 -
Hello all, sorry another absent day. Snow sucks but peoples stupid panic over it sucks more. We've had thunder, lightning & hail at the same time. Fluffy snow too. In 3 hours our tracks were snow filled. and 3-4 more inches on the drive I just cleared, grr.
Managed to go out tonight without children as DPs brother babysat for a few hours, 3 hours and archers, gin, baileys & tia maria later I might have an iffy head in the morningbad girl on a school night, assuming schools are open tomorrow.
Not as much flying done as I hoped but plan on doing more tomorrow, ((hugs)) to you all xxOne day I might be more organised...........

Erm no! Our tree is 6'6" tall so would need LARGE pillow cases :rotfl:I don't envy you trying to keep up with the stars and welcomes at the moment, I reckon this is the fastest the thread has ever moved.I was very resourceful- was going to make a cuppa but decided to use up the last of the bucks fizz to conserve the milk for DD tomorrow x
