I hate that, especially when we have a gale and they send some poor reporter to stand next to th sea to show how dangerous it is to be there. Or when it's freezing cold or wet and the poor weather person has to stand outside to give the forecast. It's stupid. Why do they need to suffer to do something they could easily do indoors?ruthiejane wrote: »Totally agree, the whole "I was standing down the road and I didn't see anything" routine is so annoying! And the our reporter in the next but one country who knows less about it than we do but we'll film him standing around outside an official looking building waffling for a while thing... GRRR!!!
:rotfl::rotfl:I do that too! And when they say: "see you next week"or when they say "see you after the break" I find myself saying "I can see you but you can't see me, you're in a tv studio in London"...(so why am I talking to them?)"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
