Two of my children went there but they're grown up and left home now so I don't know what it's like nowadays.

Now we are back on an even keel moneywise we have decided to try and save up to take the children to Florida either next year (when they will be 7,6,3) or the year after (when they will be (8,7,4) depending on how much we can save. We already save our child benefit every month and are hoping to match that by cutting back and doing stuff like mystery shopping, ebay etc.

We priced it up over the hols and its a tall order but if we have no goal to save for we will just not save properly.
First of all WELL DONE YOU
secondly I would suggest leaving it two or even three years because your littley is very little - maybe too small for a lot of the rides, assuming you're planning theme parks in the trip. It will give you time to save! Maybe someone who has been (and not just has opinions, like your truly) can advise you.
My neighbours went 10 years ago, when their kids were in their early teens.

Assuming you don't have anything complicated (make and model would be useful) Plug the new router into the socket in the wall - the cable goes into the socket labelled DSL (hopefully!). You should also have sockets labelled 'LAN' - you plug the ethernet cable from your PC into that - get rid of your old router, you shouldn't need it anymore.

Once you have plugged your PC into the new router, you can set it up properly by logging into it.

Have a cuppa, then try again...

I was just gonna try that when teenie and his mates came in, one of them took it off me fiddled with the wires moved the router to under the pc desk and voila, it worked!:T:cool::D thanks though *mwah*

Still haven't done anything and I didn't catch up on posts either as littley accosted me and made me play on the Wii (super mario bros. wii, I highly recommend it if you like platform games like we do) so, best do some stuff now, starting with the veg for tea.

Congratulations from me too Jill:T I will echo what Valli has said with regard to the ages. Not only too small for a lot of the rides but there is a HUGE amount of walking involved. I wouldnt take a 4 year old. Would probably wait til about 6ish. My parents took us twice when we were in our teens and it was amazing:j More chance the little one will remember it if they are a little older too.

I echo it too, we were there last year and the walking nearly killed me

Loads of the rides your littley wouldnt be able to get on, and not all the parks have "small" stuff to get them excited either

      I would wait as well

Hope we are not putting a downer on your idea though:o just dont want you not to get the best experience for all the family for your money;)

    • JillD - mine were 7, 8 and 10 when we went to florida for 2 weeks and they were absolutely knackered - so was I!!!! Best if you do still want to go is to do the 2 part holiday like we did. Have a week doing disney, universal and seaworld then go to the coast for a week of relaxing. Otherwise you all need a holiday when you come back! Can recommend Clearwater on the gulf coast, lovely, laid back and within driving (if you can be ar£ed!) to visit other areas around
