Have nearly finished today's list,s till catching up on washing though. Got all the window stickers down and all decs are away now. Living room looks sad and empty now
Dinner's mostly cooked.
Just checked MEt office and it's gone crazy with big red warnings everywhere. Luckily, being in East Sussex, we just miss all the bad snow. May get a bit but not as much as everyone else. Hopefully. Cannot afford for OH to miss any more work.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

I've been faffing with this router for hours, it wont connect because the ethernet socket it needs to plug into is used by the ethernet for my internet, if I put it in, I lose my internet connection *brain frazzled* my heads thumping. Made a very detailed thread on techie forum, posted it and I timed out and it got lost in the ether somewhere
Need to make up the beds yet, and do stuff round here, done nothing. Oh and it's snowed again
Am fed up!

Once you have plugged your PC into the new router, you can set it up properly by logging into it.
Have a cuppa, then try again...0 -
helen You don't sound mean at all. Just a worried DW who wants her DH to be out of pain and looked after. Don't forget to take it a little easier yourself - the worry takes it out of you.

Had eye test and sorfted new glasses - glamin expensive - lenses were £158
After having done nothing yesterday, finally motivated self to move today despite little sleep. Hoping if I overdo things today I may sleep tonight.
Cup of tea now before owt else.
We've had rain, very wet sleet and hail here today but still not a sniff of snow at all.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
thanks for all your comments.
My dad has offered to take me to pick up my car but as the radio is saying only main routes are passable, and then only with care, I have declined.
My car is safe, I am home safe with my children (well one of; DS is out playing in the snow and didn't appear for lunch) so I shall see what tomorrow brings.
On the hill out of the village there are three grit bins (at least) and certainly the one I looked in as I whizzed past with my knight-in-shining was bereft of all grit.
Thing is, in my car there is my shovel, the ankle boots I set off in this morning and my wellies. NEXT time I am considering including one of the kids sledges and bungee cords then I can strap everything to it and drag it with me...well not the shovel. Nanook of the North eat yer heart out!
Am now considering taking a flask with me (but then I would need the loo:o:rolleyes:) and a sleeping bag in addition to everything else I already haul on my winter journeys. Oh and my MP3 player, then I wouldn't be TOO bored! Am also SERIOUSLY considering a meatier motor next time. I was, TBH, quite scared.
Still ***adopts glad-Pollyanna mode*** at least I DID have the stuff I needed to get to safety when I needed to:D:D:D:D:D
But I am absolutely shattered - must be the stress of it all I suppose. I have managed to wash and dry some pots. So I have fluttered weakly...
(Ohh congrats S - hope all goes well with the ssh-you-know-what)
And further congrats ZOE...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
