Been to shop (2000 steps) ... bought milk & yogurt & newspaper. I'm 30 minutes into 2 hours of teleconferences, and about halfway through the ironing (just having a little rest :D). I remembered (just) to bring some more logs in. It's overcast now but no snow yet...

Wasn't it only Sodding Chipbury 100 years ago?

Nice, happy school, King Edmunds, I liked it. Is it still there?

Still there, but with delusions of grandeur.....

Two of my children went there but they're grown up and left home now so I don't know what it's like nowadays.

Snow has gone off a bit now, it's just light.

Flying - cooked dinner and it's all cleared away and the kitchen S&Sd. Gave in and put the heating on, it's really cold.

    Hi all
Hope you are all taking care with all this snow (those who have it anyway!)

Didn't get to town, I didn't want to get stranded there if the buses stopped. So no flowers, will get them tomorrow if it's better weather. Did go out and make a snowman with boyf though  he didn't go to college, rang them and the woman said technically it's open, but no one is turning up, he said he'd be coming from manchester (it's in huddersfield) and she laughed and said don't bother.

Have pottered around doing bits and bobs, about to go and blast the bedroom in a few after a cup of tea from my lovely teapot. Hugs to everyone, thanks for the good wishes today. I'm getting through.

    xxxxx

ETA Count me in JulieJim! I might be a bit longer though... Will post when I'm done xx

My interactive pedometer thingy is scary... the website has all sorts of stuff in it, including somewhere to put in details of everything you eat during the day! So i'm going to have to weigh and measure EVERYTHING!!! Which I didn't do this morning... so I'll be guessing...

ETA - I'd better go and weigh a few things, as according to the site, even though I had a cadbury's fudge on the way back from the shop :o and a slice of brioche with marmalade, I've only had 500 kcals today  I had yogurt, muesli, stewed apple & juice for breakfast and lentil soup for lunch...
