Just wondering whether I should nip out for a quick walk before the snow starts... problem is, if I do I'll go to the shop and I really don't think I can fit anymore food in the house! Still, the exercise will do me good... looks as if I'd better brave it!

And I might bring another sack of logs in while I'm outside... I knew I should have stocked up on coal, but really, really don't want to drive anywhere right now.

I wouldn't risk the ebay hongkong dresses, I ordered an evening dress from one of them and the quality was appaling. Not something I'd risk for the most important dress ever!

Also what/why a wedding planner, isn't planning your wedding half the fun?

My wedding cost about £150 lol, it was a rush job but even if it hadn't been the idea of spending thousands on one day is not something I can get my head around unless you're really rich. My best mate is still paying for her wedding a year after they divorced!

The quality for a wedding dress/bridesmaid dress doesn't matter to a degree.. if it lasts the day does anyone actually wear their wedding dress again? This is why I said to ask other buyers about quality etc and any other important questions.

I have however had loads of stuff from Asia and it has all been fabulous.

Just had to go and sort out a water leak next door  the other neighbour heard it but has no access to the house. Turns out it was the outside tap that had come apart, all sorted now phew!

Tree and decorations down, will sort through this afternoon and send unwanted ones to school when it reopens :rotfl:

Apparently the buses, trains and trams are not running around here and the main roads are not too good either. It hasn't really stopped snowing all day so far but at the moment it is really light stuff, I reckon about 5 inches fell over night.

    Right lunch and onwards.

Have just told the children that I don't think it's wise to travel 20 miles to pantomime in snow. Tears all round, especially from dd2 who missed it with school due to having pneumonia.

Aww bless, thats a shame. Give her a big hug from us, my DD has missed her school panto 2 years running now with pneumonia too.

Skipsmum - nightmare! Have had that done to me and its awful, hope they get the people that did it.

Have not done much flying other than some washing and ironing. Food delivery should be coming soon, i'm like old mother hubbard right now!
