Good afternoon. Both boys at school, took them myself as DS1s taxi was an hour late....daft company seding him to the airport first so he got delayed. Yet more snow over night, been unable to buy rock salt anywhere but found out there is a bin (which has some in) at the top of the street, so going to get DP & boys up there with the sledge to do a path for us & elderly neighbours. Council are buying any B&Q have & Homebase can't get it because government has bought all supplier has.

Trying to reduce our gas usage a bit with the gas works warnings especially. Going to pick up a few bits of shopping today as still not been.

Living room needs finishing first as being putting decs away, then kitchen & my room where I tipped out a box of paperwork to find something in a hurry this morning :o Oh tanks all need mucking out too. Hugs for all who need/would like one, best get moving to warm up xx
One day I might be more organised...........

Can't believe the amount of stuff I've got done this morning. I wish i'd taken a photo now to show you all what i'd done! Going to finish off yesterdays list and take all the decorations down this afternoon. I've got my eldest at home as her school is closed so may get some help. Then got to pick the youngest up from nursery and off to dancing.

Afternoon all, not caught up yet just posting first.

I've done the living room and hallway today, I'll claim my star later in the week ;)

It was quite sunny earlier but it's started to snow a bit now. I've got some washing draped round indoors. I went over the vets earlier to get the dog's medicine so I don't run out if the weather gets too bad and got a couple of loaves of bread while I was by the shop as I had some room in the freezer. Gettting colder now I'm sitting down but I'll just try to catch up a bit before it's time to start cooking.

Have managed NOTHING this morning. Spent 2 hours at the doctors and the rest of the time on the phone cos some fraudulent ***hole has emptied my bank account. Now I have to go and pick up DS1 from college 25 miles away cos the train has broken down due to ice (! it worked this morning!) and then Ive got to go and get DS2 from school early because his is a village school and they are worried they will get cut off when it snows later. Theyve only had him back a morning!

Actually have not managed nothing, I have got kids up and to train station/school with packed lunches in clean clothes, have been to the doc and picked up my meds, have walked the dog...so the house is a tip but my life looks better on the outside!

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area Why oh why the kitchen! Its horrible in there! Moan, whine.Level One
Declutter and wipe those worksurfaces made DS do this, does it count?
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Two
clean blinds/curtains none so will clean the bins instead. Yeah!
    Clean the hob and oven
Clean out the fridge.. Um. Made DS do this as well while I went to the supermarket. Its still done tho!

Level Three Got an emotionally hard day today so may not make it to level 3. Didnt make it to level 3, but pleased with what Ive achieved!

Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and landing!
    Level One
[STRIKE]Strip wash and replace the bedding![/STRIKE] Did this on Sat so wont do it today. Im going to count that as done!
Declutter the floor.. laundry gone, shoes gone.. etc

    Vacuum and turn the mattress
    Vacuum the floors
    Level Three
Tidy a chest of drawers/wardrobe.. is there anything past its best that can go live elsewhere?
Clear and tidy the top of a wardrobe/COD and replace only what is necessary.. surely you don't need it all!?
Wash curtains/blinds that are in need. wont do it cos cant get them dry.

Just a quick post for Greenbee - My DH is on his way back up from Hook via Oxford/Northampton and he says it is clear. He was at Oxford when he called. HTH, saves you fretting.

At work (and I shouldn't be on here!) so not much done. So far today I have scrubbed pot noodle out of the sink before I left for work. The joy of badly trained resident teenager.
