Very Hard!
We have shut but actually it was prompted by various parents arriving and asking to take their children home 'now while they still could'

so here I am at home with time on my hands .... might go for a sleep actually :)

Bedroom again today? Did that last week. Surely it doesn't need doing for another month or so? *g*

ETA: Maybe that's how I got in this mess in the first place.

DH is in Yorkshire and says that driving conditions are dire so he's not having fun!

Trying to decide whether to take the kids up the fields with their sledges. I think they've forgotten they've got them and they're quite happy at the moment - only killing each other occasionally. I know as soon as mention the they'll be raring to go and it might be the only chance they get - but I'm nice and warm and don't really want to go out in the snow!

Juliejim, I'd say go for it. I know it's nice and warm inside, but you can warm up afterwards with a nice hot chocolate ;) . You never know, you might enjoy it and you'll definitely be in the kids good books!!

Does anyone want to join me in a HHC at 14.15? And when I say join me, I mean at my house! It's a tip! I have got myself two new jobs, been away and need to make a start before I find myself being told off by Kim and Aggie!

lol, you made me snort into my tea:p

Just helping LO finish her birthday cake:D

Been fluttering rather than flying today, slow and steady... I'm getting there though.

I'm wondering whether to go to get DD via the village shop and get some bread and milk ..... just in case we do get a whole lot of snow. Do you think that's sensible or am I being silly?
Weather is so unpredictable might be best to get.
Better have stuff in and not need it than not have it and need it.

went to work earlier to find a lot of the kids being picked up as the snow was coming down thick and fast.....those left had dinner and back to the class where I sat with the teacher as more children were collected....I was then told at 10 2 1 that I didn't need to stay as the teachers had to stay with the children!!!!!!

Brought DD home with me as the headmaster had decided to shut the school....walked home with the sun shining, no more snow, and the sun slowly melting what we had!!!!!!!!
Threatened to take DD back to school....she was not impressed!!!!

Anyways, WM+TD on, jacket potato with beans and cheese scoffed by DD( yes she had dinner in school as well!!!!), hoovered through downstairs, now I'm gonna have my spud.

Don't think it helped my cold by walinkg up in the snow, feeling achy now and head is fuzzy again!!!!

Quick update post for me, as we'll be off to the shops in 10 mins or so.

Oh, before I forget, thanks Toots for the lovely PM welcoming me as a Flylady (well, an apprentice one, if I'm honest.)

Here's how I've got on today:

Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and landing!
Level One
Strip wash and replace the bedding! Regular Saturday task, already done this week
Declutter the floor.. laundry gone, shoes gone.. etc Did this last night (am I psychic?)
Level Two
Clear a box of stuff from the landing. N/A – we live in a bungalow:D:p*pokes tongue out at Jinky*
Vacuum and turn the mattress – Already done (see above)
Vacuum the floors Mr LW did this on Sunday so OK for now.
Level Three
Tidy a chest of drawers/wardrobe.. is there anything past its best that can go live elsewhere? Done – my tip of a 3-drawer bedside cabinet. I may even be able to find things now. I don’t have the courage to do Mr LW’s, though; gawd knows what he’s got in there.
Clear and tidy the top of a wardrobe/COD and replace only what is necessary.. surely you don't need it all!? Checked top of wardrobes – all that is stored there is correct; it is now tidy as well.
Wash curtains/blinds that are in need. Needs Mr LW to take them down, so will have to wait til another time. (Actually they’re not too bad)
Extras
1. Wash windows Er…. Not today.
2. Dust and deweb Partially done; have run out of puff now (and time); but the bedside cabinets have had a thorough polish up.
3. Shine 2 lightshades! Done – both our bedside lamps, PLUS my make-up lamp.
4. Straighten a shelf of books or ornaments.. Done – various dragons, dishes, candleholders plus a bust of Beethoven (don’t ask) removed from window sill, dusted/polished and replaced tidily.

I hope everyone is keeping warm and safe; no snow here yet, but from the look of the sky, it's only a matter of time.
